District Eight Female - Alya Holt

Full name: Alya Holt

Age: 17

District: Eight

Physical Description: Her untamable, medium-length amber hair often falls to her misterious midnight blue eyes, but she removes the thick strands with a gentle movement of her thin, long-fingered hand and continues drawing with her other. Besides her deep eyes and beautiful hair, the features decorating her oval face are a small nose and light pink lips she often stretches into a pearly white smile, or ends up sticking out her tongue trough them because she's concentrated into drawing. Her body is shaped like an hourglass and not too thin nor too tall- just perfecf for her age.

Personality: Alya is an introvert, but don't let that fool you- she's actually very confident and knows how to stand up for herself (mostly with sassy and smart-ass comments, showing off her knowledge). It's just that she prefers drawing in her backyard than... doing anything else, and isn't very social. When she wants, she can be stubborn, and is calm in stressful situations. She's very independent and will only ask for help if she really, really needs it, but with her intelligence she probably won't. She has a great sense of humor and is generally polite and nice, but, believe me, she can hold a grudge.

Backstory: She is the second daughter of Jill and Kenneth Holt, of which latter remarried into another District. She hasn't heard from her father since she left them when Alya was 14. Her older sister Harmony got aranged-married to a winner of the Games in one of the richer Districts instead of Alya, in hope that she could send them some money, but the first transaction was confiscated and they didn't try doing other. A year later, Harmony gave birth to a girl and named her Claire Alya. Alya spends her time drawing in the backyard, mostly nature and clothes that her mother later sews and sells.

Power Wished For: The ability to transform into any animal at will, along with having the powers of the animal she transformed into (like regeneration when she becomes a lizard).

Weapon of Choice: A sword if it's a hand-to-hand combat and fast-working poisonous darts from afar, but she's a fast learner so anything sharp she can get her hands on will work for her.

Allies: She prefers working alone but if she must, she'll pair up with someone as long as they won't backstab or slow her down.

Tribute Token: Her sister's blue bandana.

Reason/Reaction: An ironic "Wonderful!" passed trough her mind and she calmly approached the stage with a flaming question of how will she survive the Games whirling inside her head.
