Chapter 11

"Why was Zack talking to you like that about Axel?" Aidan asked once we were outside of Cam's house.

"Zack heard me sleep talking. I was saying that i missed Axel and that i loved him" i answered as we walked into our house. We headed for the kitchen and sat down at the counter.

"So you dreamed about him?" Aidan asked after a moment.

"Every night" i nodded. "Sometimes it's just memories of us. But other times like last night, i dream or rather replayed the memories of the day at the Park" i added.

"I'm still sorry that i wasn't there for you when you needed me. I shut everyone out after Axel died. I mean Axel was like my best friend after all" he said looking down at his intertwined hands.

"Aid, it's really OK. Besides i know what your feelings were towards me" i placed my hand over both of his.

"We all shut people out sometimes" i added with a smile.

"I figured that if i shut everyone out of my life then no one could hurt me. I really cared about Axel and i didn't want to experience that pain again. So i decided to isolate myself from everyone that has the power to hurt me" Aidan said looking at me with tears in his hazel eyes.

"It's OK Aid. You're here now and that's all that matters" i hugged him and he held on to me. "Aid, i love and all but i have to get ready for school. You wanna walk with me there?" i asked after a moment.

"Sure, but you should hurry up it's already 7:35 am" he laughed.

"Shit!"

I ran upstairs and went to closet. I stripped so fast and pulled on my black skinny jeans with a white v-neck and my black long sleeved cardigan. I put on my black combat boots and ran a brush through my hair. I looked OK, i guess.

I grabbed everything that i needed and headed for my car.

"You're driving my car?" i asked Aidan as he got into the driver's seat.

"Yes, you have a problem?" he replied with a smirk.

"Well two problems actually. Firstly this is my car and secondly can you even drive?" i asked

"What do you think i do when everyone leaves for work and school?" he asked me as he pulled out of the driveway and headed towards my school.

"I don't know. Watch movies or actually be with your personal tutor?" i asked

"Well the tutor comes for about 4 hours and then he leaves then i take out my car and just cruse to the beach" he said smiling at me

"You don't have a driver's license" i said bluntly

"I actually do have one. I got it a few months ago when everyone went to work and school" he said.

"Oh" i said just as we pulled into the student parking lot.

"Do i have to walk home or?" he said smiling once we came to a stop.

"Keep the car with you. I'll walk home its totes cool" i said. I started laughing after saying totes and Aidan shook his head.

"You did not just say totes?" he asked

"Shut up" i laughed then opened the door just as the bell rang.

"Someone's late" Aidan sang

"Whatever, keep the car I'll see you when i get home. Bye" i hugged him then gathered my things and headed for my locker. I dumped my bag in my locker only taking my needed books and phone.
