Raven pov

I was lying on the cold, black marble. A thick, dark liquid surrounded me, spreading on the black marble floor. A stone shard was protruding from my stomach. I was in pain. Excruciating pain.

Suddenly I heard a scream. I twisted my head and looked up. The pain numbed slightly, a grin formed on my face. Noah was floating in the air, a golden crown on her head. I knew then that we would win. She was going to defeat Tenebris. She was going to save the two worlds.

I gasped. I was still smiling before I blacked out. Then out of nowhere, a bright flash. I opened my eyes to see that I was surrounded by a blinding light, floating.
Floating next to me was Jake, looking around in confusion.

I turned my head and almost cried out in joy. Celeste was floating in front of me. I grinned, ready to give her a hug. But my smile faded when I saw that she was crying.

"I'm sorry." she whispered.

I jolted awake with a gasp, clutching my stomach. I sat up on my bed and looked around. Everything was normal. I was in my enormous bedroom in the palace. On my right, the curtains were drawn over the huge window that took up the wall, blocking the light. On my left far off was my gown, carelessly tossed on a small platform in front of the walk-in closet. I had thrown it on the floor two weeks ago after the coronation and still hadn't bothered to picking it up. Further to my right was a dining table stacked with dirty plates, and at the foot of my bed a little further up, was a book shelf, and a desk littered with crumpled papers, holographic cards which were still on and projected a feeble image of different documents. I hadn't let the maids enter my room. For some reason, I didn't want anyone to touch the mess I made. I felt like I had to clean it up on my own. Organize my own ideas, order everything, put a sense to the mess in my head. I still haven't done it.

I hugged my knees and groaned. The same dream again. Again and again. For a year...
I opened my eyes. I knew I had to talk about it to someone but something stopped me from doing so. I knew Mark would panic if I told him. Aelius would probably ask me dig deeper into the meaning of the dream, which was something I didn't want to do. It probably required a lot of painful training. If I told Lady Faiza, that old enchantress would cast another one of her mind spells and probably send a knife through my brain. And Noah and the others? Noah was a queen. The last thing she needed was worrying about some stupid nightmare. And the others had their own problems to deal with.

I swore under my breath and looked up. I reluctantly climbed out of bed and shuffled to the bathroom.

The bathroom itself was huge too. Half the size of my bedroom. There was a giant sink, with a mirror just as big. On my right was a golden showerhead, and on my left was a small square pool with a soft waterfall against the wall. Right next to the sink was a door which led to to toilet. On top of the wall on my right, was a rectangular piece of white, frosted glass, which let a soft white light in.

Without thinking, I stripped down and stepped inside the small pool. I sank to the bottom, closing my eyes. The water was cool and refreshing. I stayed underwater as long as I could before going up for breath. I rested my head on the ledge, eyes closed, and enjoying the peaceful silence. Only the sound of the soft waterfall could be heard. I don't know how long I stayed there, but a loud knock made sit up.

I sighed when I recognized Mark's muffled voice. I stepped out, dried myself and wrapped a towel around me. Just as I was about to step out of the bathroom, I heard a click outside and Mark entering my room.

"Mark, get the hell out of my room!" I yelled through the door.

"I'm your boyfriend. Am I not allowed to be in here?"
