I slammed my foot on the brakes and jolted forward as the car screeched to a stop. Right in front of me, a bright pink Audi zoomed past.
Swearing, I pried my hands away from the steering wheel and clutched my chest, trying to calm my racing heart. Calm down Noah. It's okay. You're alive. Breathing out slowly, I started driving again. Gritting my teeth, I sped up, hoping I wasn't too late. I am so going to kill her.
A voice beeped from the dashboard and the screen lit up.
"Scanning for damages." Rolling my eyes, I let the computer car do its thing, not bothering to turn the annoying voice off. It never worked anyway. "No critical damages found. You may continue your way. Turn left in fifteen meters to reach your destination." I let out an irritated drawl. This morning was just by far getting more and more on my nerves.
I took a right and finally entered the school. Police officers on duty at the gates checked my student's ID for what felt like the thousandth time and finally let me drive in the school parking lot. Slowing the car down, I drove up to my usual spot and parked it. Killing the engine, I stepped out and scanned the parking lot. Just a few poles away, was the pink Audi that had almost killed me. I slammed my door shut and swiped my ID on the scanner which was next to my car. It beeped and I quickly stepped away as a small portion of the ground separated, and sunk underground, taking my car to the highly secure parking spots underneath the school campus. The advantage of a private school, high security and best service.
As soon as the ground closed up, I spun around and marched towards Cindy. She had just swiped her own ID and was now just standing in the middle of the road, chatting with her dung-brained friends. Cracking my knuckles, I glared as I approached them.
"OI!" I barked. Cindy turned, then smirked when she saw me.
"Well, well, well. I see you haven't been kidnapped again, such a pity. Was hoping you wouldn't have the brains to escape a second time." Cindy's friends snickered. She sighed. "So, what does little Noah want now?"
Boiling, I clenched my fists. "Anyone ever taught you how to drive, Cindy? You almost ran me over with your stupid joke mobile." I snarled. She sighed again.
"I wasn't the one getting drunk on tequila and shit last night darling. You probably had a little too much to drink and couldn't control your vehicle properly this morning." she made a little tsk sound and smirked. Then she drooped her face and pouted. "It's okay hon, it happens." she crooned.
She bent down so that her nose was almost touching mine and I got a whiff of her breath. I also got a close-up of her smirking, bitchass face. By now, her fake barbie dolls were almost hysterical. As they muffled their giggles, I grit my teeth and glared.
"I don't drink." I growled through clenched teeth, pulling away from her in disgust. Not really the truth but I was definitely not drinking the night before. "You almost ran me over with your dumb barbie carriage. I just came here to tell you to watch the road before rocketing your car to fucking Timbuktu." Shoving her aside, I headed for the school, not letting her say anything else.
"Oh and by the way..." I called over my shoulder. "If you're going to blame someone of drinking tequila, make sure your breath doesn't reek of it first."

"And your time starts.......now."
The history teacher looked up from her watch, eyeing us. The holographic cards placed in front of us were designed specially so that they were completely locked away from the internet or any other apps and programs. A special link led straight to the assignment or test the teacher gives you and doesn't allow you to exit until you've finished.
And at this moment, we were having a test. A history test of all things. As if I don't already have a lot of history to study. Of a different world to top it off. I sighed, typing quickly on the hologram keyboard, eyes on the screen that was being projected from the card. A few minutes passed, maybe ten or fifteen. The classroom was silent, students quietly working. I continued typing, not hesitating to answer each question that sprung up after the next.
