NEW BONDS (Part 11)

Today, Blyana felt a bit better. For the first time in a while, no one at the university shot her hateful looks; everyone seemed to focus on their own business.

She walked into the basketball hall for morning practice and greeted her coach before heading to the changing room to put on her practice clothes.

When she rejoined the team, she found them lined up and ready to go. The coach gathered everyone, including the boys' team from the other court, and made sure they were all present.

Once outside, the coach led them in a warm-up jog. As everyone dispersed into small groups, Blyana noticed how people chatted and laughed together. She jogged alone, embraced by her own thoughts. Though she had earned a reputation as a loner, she found strength in her solitude. Today, she felt free from the weight of others' opinions.

Across the field, Brezzy strolled near the cheerleading stadium, talking on her phone. When she spotted the basketball players, she quickly hung up. Her eyes searched for Carson, and she felt a thrill when she saw him at the back of the group. But then she noticed Blyana jogging to the side, alone.

Seeing this as a chance, Brezzy thought it would be a good idea to approach Blyana. Maybe she could impress Carson by showing kindness. Taking a deep breath, she decided to jog over to Blyana, ready to make a connection.

As Blyana spotted Brezzy coming towards her she stopped because she was amused why suddenly Brezzy was approaching her, while Blyana thought Brezzy came to her and asked "why did you stop jogging?" blyana replied coldly " and what is it to you, breezy honestly today I am not into the mood of bickering with you cause I have a lot to do as you see and if you get lost from here I would appreciate it."

Brezzy: "Take a chill pill girl, I am here to apologize and make things right." 

Blyana: "What are you blabbering about?"

While Blyana and Brezzy were together, Carson saw it and thought Brezzy was here to make things right with Blyana, so he felt a little relieved that now maybe everyone would not hate Blyana, and Brezzy wouldn't be monstrous.

Brezzy: "It's about us being friends."

Blyana: (cough) "Us being friends, you need to come out of your fantasies."

Brezzy: " I know, Blyana, it's very hard for you to accept it, but I wanna be friends and forget about what happened in the past, please."

Blyana: "And what makes you think that I believe you?"

Brezzy: "I know it's hard, but at least let me apologize my best, I am sorry, Blyana, what I did to you was very selfish and hideous, but I want to try to become better and be a good friend to you, if you don't mind."

Blyana: " I do not want to be friends with you, that's clear, I hope."

Brezzy: "At least accept my apology.'

Blyana: "NO"

Brezzy: "Please, Blyana, I am genuinely very sorry."

Blyana: "Can you please get out of my way?" ( and started jogging again at a normal pace )

Brezzy: "I am not gonna stop until you accept my apology." ( while running after her )

Brezzy: "Are you even listening to me?"  ( while panting )

After a while of pestering, Brezzy still did not stop, and Ran followed behind her. But after a while, Blyana suddenly stopped and looked at Brezzy and said.

Blyana: " Fine. I forgive you, but never talk to me again.

Brezzy: " Thanks, but I am not sure if I won't talk to you."

Blyana was visibly irritated, but she took a deep breath, kept her composure, and gradually increased her pace to push through. Brezzy, feeling overwhelmed, tried to keep up but struggled to maintain her speed, occasionally falling behind.

Brezzy while falling behind glanced at Carson and gave a thumbs up while Carson sighed and  gave her a thumbs up back, knowing that his words were nothing but of waste to Brezzy.

As the last five rounds were remaining everyone increased their pace and picked up a good speed to end the warm up session to get to the high exhertion session, after the last 5 rounds everyone stopped infront of the basketball court and waited for the coach to tell them what's next where do they all need to head to.

while the players were relaxing Blyana reached her locker and got her a napkin and water bottle, while she drinked water some guys approched her and asked if she knew where the coach was ( well, their intentions were not of just asking her about the coach, but actually were their to make a move on her, because she is famous and a lot of guys like her but reputations is tainted because of the girls in the university), Blyana politely said she did not know where he was, but the guys did not go and one of the guys Adam asked her if she was up for a party in a club that night, blyana was caught off by those guys but maintained her demenour and said " Glad that you asked, but I am sorry." They looked at each other, and a guy said a little awkwardly, " Aahh, that's nothing, no problem, then we'll get going, see you on court."

Carson, while going inside the court, saw the whole scene and got a little jealous and left in between of the conversation, misunderstanding the whole situation as he was invited to the party as well, and he knew all the guys were gonna be there, only a few girls were invited. 

The coach arrived and told everyone to stand across each other with a distance of 2 metres in between everyone, so that they could do all the exercises easily, everyone stood across each other and the coach made some groups who will do the exercises based on their level of game, the players who were the captains of teams and were representing in nationals and representing the university were in a different group which had Blyana, Carson,  Alex, Brandon, Kayla, Sara, Adam, Jazzy

And all the other groups were also divided on the same basis to enhance their games.

The best group will have their session after all the other groups. Blyana and the group sat down on the bleachers while waiting for their turns. After some time, the coach gave them a task to make pairs of a guy and a girl and do some ab workout on their own.

Alex paired with Sara, Jazzy paired with Brandon,  Kayla paired with Carson, Blyana paired with Adam, Honestly, Carson really wanted to be paired up with Blyana because it could've been their first encounter together but Adam made a move first and got paired with her. Blyana on the other hand wanted that, Adam would pair up with someone else, but that did not happen and Blyana could not refuse because then it would look very weird for Blyana to do that.
