The air hung heavy with unspoken accusations as Blyana sat amidst the committee, a silent target in their crosshairs. Their meeting, convened to address her alleged transgressions, was abruptly interrupted by the arrival of her father, a titan of industry whose name resonated with both awe and trepidation within the university's hallowed halls. He was the lifeblood of their institution, the benefactor whose generosity had paved the way for countless careers.
His presence, a palpable force field of power and influence, silenced even the most vocal critics, their tongues tied by the unspoken threat of his displeasure.
The whispers that had swirled around Blyana, whispers of nepotism and privilege, were abruptly hushed as the committee members rose in unison, their faces contorted into masks of obsequious deference. The whispers, however, were not entirely unfounded. Blyana, a girl of undeniable athletic prowess, had secured a coveted spot on the university's basketball team, a feat that had ignited envy and suspicion among her peers. Her father's influence, a whispered truth among the student body, had cast a long shadow over her achievements, fueling the flames of resentment.
Brezzy, a girl whose own athletic ambitions had been eclipsed by Blyana's meteoric rise, watched the scene unfold with a simmering rage that threatened to boil over. Her eyes narrowed with a venomous intensity, and darted from Blyana to her father, her heart a churning cauldron of bitterness. She, a girl of undeniable talent and ambition, had been relegated to the sidelines, her dreams overshadowed by Blyana's perceived advantages. In her mind, Blyana was a usurper, a gilded trophy awarded to her by the whims of fate and the influence of her father.
Everyone just heard Mr. Cassidy carefully with all their ears on him as his influence could make them fall beneath the ground, but Brezzy in the corner fumed in anger as her heart sank more deep knowing Blyana had more rich and influential parents. and secretly took a video recording of the meeting and posted "Blyana Cassidy, got admission and won nationals through her family's power and she is a witch, this was a biased decision just because her father is a powerful businessman and influential. She gets all the privileges."She posted this pathetic lie on her social media account--but for Blyana this showed how vulnerable Brezzy was--and the university's group, where every university student was available.
Blyana went out with her dad and people were already there waiting for her to come out and screw her but her dad's bodyguards saved her from those kids, while Blyana was slowly passing by the student-filled messy hall her eyes met and she saw Carson looking at her, almost giving her a sad showed eye and Blyan a looked down immediately and whispered to herself "lo siento, por favor." this means "am sorry, please."
The weight of his betrayal, a heavy burden on his conscience, gnawed at Carson's soul. He, a man who had once championed fairness and integrity, now found himself complicit in a cruel and unjust campaign. His heart, once filled with admiration for Blyana, now harbored a gnawing sense of guilt and regret. He, a prisoner of his own insecurities and the allure of social acceptance, had allowed himself to be manipulated, his judgment clouded by the insidious whispers of envy and resentment.
Carson saw her lip sync and understood what she just whispered to herself because they both took Spanish classes, but he did not understand why she did that but knew it conveyed some message and she felt sad for some reason.
Carson was confused when Brezzy approached him and said "Attend the party tonight at my place and we can forget that filthy liar, OK." Carson wanted to deny but he could not and agreed to attend the party, he somehow just felt guilty for not trusting Blyana and thinking bad of her, but he knew Brezzy for a long time and she was a good friend so he listened to her and agreed to many things that she said and believed in whatever she said.
Night POV:
The air thrummed with the pulsating rhythm of the party, a cacophony of laughter, music, and the scent of illicit substances.
Carson entered the party and saw Brezzy with all of her friends and they were laughing dancing while smoking and it seemed like they were talking about something really funny and would definitely like to share with him so he went closer to them and he asked what the hype for so everyone screamed "Blyana", Carson got confused and asked up "What about Blyana?" so Brezzy came closer and asked him you think Blyana looks cute---and Carson was caught off guard and out of secrecy and introvert rules he said "No, why would i like her and she is definitely not my type at all."
They all laughed seeing Carson working up. Carson gave them a awkward laugh and started the party again.
And they then decided to bully Blyana from now on and target her at any cost, just because of Brezzy's useless hate towards Blyana, Blyana is suffering a lot.
Carson did not particularly said yes to bully Blyana but he can't like Blyana in front of his friends because they will judge him and make fool out of him and his popularity will reach its grounds.
Blyana's POV:
I just reached home and i sighed---the loudest in my whole life and the most relaxing----thinking it was the hectic day but somehow it felt good and bad at the same time, it felt like tomorrow is gonna be blast but in a wrong way and i just wanted to stay home, my intuitions are sometimes bad but it felt real. I thought of staying at my apartment because it felt good but my coach will kill me if i don't practise even one day because my nationals are very close and I could definitely be sponsored by Terok ( a big company which sponsors players in NBC, WNBC, olympics and many more big basketball events and championships, it comes in world's top ten sponsoring companies. but it's still my second year hear and i have to complete four years here.
And I could be their, I did not accept many good offers of many big companies just because Terok could see me. And I will not stop till I get sponsored by Terok.
But I don't know what new tantrum would Brezzy start now.
I have to deal with it,and i would definitely not loe from that girl that's obvious.
