Claire stretched and rolled over in her bed. Her alarm was ringing in her ear so she slammed her hand down on it and yawned. "Time for another boring day." She mumbled to herself as she sat up. She had to head to her job and she had to be in by six thirty. It was five A.M., leaving her and hour and a half to shower, get dressed, and her happy ass to work.
Claire stood up and walked into her bathroom, showering was first. She started the water and got undressed. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed. How did life get this way? Boring, uneventful?
Claire stepped into the shower and cleaned herself quickly. She turned off the water and dried off quickly. She dressed and was tying her shoes when her phone rang. Who could be calling at five forty in the morning? She picked it up and saw Leon on the caller I.D.
"Hello?" She said with a slight yawn. "Leon?"
"Hey Claire! I know it is early but are you doing anything tonight?" Leon asked in her ear.
Claire sat up straight. "No, I'm not. Why?"
"Wanna go to dinner with me?"
"S-sure." She stuttered and bit her tongue hoping he didn't hear it. "I'll see you then but I need to leave for work."
"Alright. Bye."
She hung up and her heart began pounding. "Leon just asked me out..."
Claire smiled as she combed her hair. Her red dress was just shy of her knees. She thought she looked good in it. She just hoped Leon would like it. She applied some blush on cheeks then slipped on her back heels. She heard a knock at the door and answered it quickly. Leon stood there in a nice suit. He smiled, "Hey Claire."
"Hey Leon." She said looking him over. She nearly drooled, but she closed her mouth quickly. "I'm ready."
"Good. Let's go then."
Claire grabbed her bag and locked her door and her and Leon left for the restaurant.
