Claire rested her head on Leon's shoulder as they watched a movie on the sofa. The two had been together for two months and Claire was probably that happiest woman on the planet. She yawned hugging Leon tight.

"Tired?" Leon asked looking at her.

She shrugged, "Slightly. It's no big deal. I want to finish the movie."

"Mmm, alright." He rested his head on hers that was still on his shoulder. "I love you."

"I love you too."

After the movie, Claire was passed out on Leon's shoulder. He sighed and wiggled out from under her. He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom and laid her down in his bed tucking her in gently. He sat beside her and watched her for a moment. She was so peaceful.

I'm glad she didn't slip away from me... she's such a beautiful person inside and out.

Leon leaned over and kiss her forehead then walked to the bathroom.

Claire woke up to the toilet flushing. She blinked in the dim light as the bathroom door opened and Leon walked out. She smiled at him sleepily, "I guess I fell asleep on you anyways." She yawned and snuggled in the blanket more.

"Yeah," He scratched the back of his neck. "It's fine though. The movie was kinda of lame anyways." He removed his shirt and then clicked off the bathroom light.

"Really? What a bummer!" Claire sat up a bit as Leon slid in next to her.

"Eh, there are better paranormal movies out there, we just have to find them." He cuddled his lover and kissed her gently on the lips. Claire smiled as the pulled away. He clicked the light off and snuggled his face into her hair.

"Yeah, but not tomorrow." Leon's dog hopped up into the bed and laid between their legs. "You're leaving in the morning."

"Yeah... work." He sighed as she took in his scent. She still loved it so much.

"Be careful."

"Always."

Claire took a breath then laughed a bit, "Learn to drive better."

"Hey, the circumstances are always really bad!"

"Nonsense! Others can drive in the apocalypse just fine!"

"Don't call it that!"

"That's what it is most times, blondie."

"Shut it, red head."

"Make me." She mocked and before she knew it his lips were against hers making her blush in the darkness, but she accepted the kiss that was made to silence her. She'd never tire of kissing Leon. He was the man of her dreams, and he was finally hers. Never had she been so glad to have dealt with the problem of Raccoon City. That was where she met her Raccoon City Hero.
