Breadstick AU part 1

Nico's POV
Percy and I sat down at table at the restaurant we were at. It's really nice, it's not way too fancy but it's not casual either, also there aren't too many people. I like that too. A waiter came over to our table. He's tall with wavy blonde hair, blue eyes the color of the sky and a tan. He grins at Percy and I as he puts the menus down then says "Hello, I'm Will and I will be serving you both tonight. Can I start you off with our complementary breadsticks?"
Percy nodded, "Yes, please."
Will nods and walks away. Later on he comes back with the plate of breadsticks. We both thank him once he sets them down. "Are you both ready to order?" Will asks. We both agree and we order. After that he walks away again.

"I heard this place is famous for their breadsticks," Percy grins, stuffing a breadstick in his mouth. "Wow these are delicious!"
"No talking with your mouth full, Percy," I tease and he laughs which nearly caused him to choke.

I take a breadstick and take a bite of it, I expected it to taste like any normal breadstick but it didn't. Something about it was different. I just couldn't put my finger on it but it was a magnificent taste. I quickly scarf down the rest of the breadstick then I proceed to take another. Percy laughs, "They're pretty good, huh?"

I nod, doing a thumbs up "Mhm!" Percy just laughs again then takes another breadstick also. It was all going well, we still had a bunch of tasty breadsticks left over, Percy and I had talked for a while everything was going pretty great. Until now.

  "Hey, Percy. Did you hear that place that's being shut down?"
   Percy nodded "Oh yeah, I did. That place was so stupid!"
   I shook my head angrily "It was not. That place was great and the people were robbed, they're short on money. They didn't deserve-"
  "Well they should of kept their money more secure and they can get new jobs" He shrugged.  "Plus I hear it'll be made into an aquarium which is way better than a stupid book and merchandise store. Come on, Nico stop being so sensitive, you make a big deal out of the stupidest things," Percy laughed.

    I can't believe this. I was not being overly sensitive. I wasn't.  It was a great place, I often came there to relax. Plus there is a McDonald's next door to it. I feel my anger growing and I blink back a few tears, angry with myself for dating that jerk for five months. I consider giving the asshole a punch in the face. Instead, I stand up and I grab my bag. "I'm sorry but I have to leave, immediately," I mutter as I start shoving the breadsticks into my bag. Percy tries to say something but I stuff the rest of the breadstick he had started to eat earlier into his mouth.

   I start heading towards the door but I bump into someone, we both stumble back and I fall, a few breadsticks toppling out of my bag. "Sorry," I huff and shove the breadsticks back into my bag. "Uh, it's fine," a voice says. I look up and see that standing in front of me is Will, the waiter who was going to serve Percy and I.p

Okay sorry if the part where they break up kinda sucks I was just trying to make it more realistic instead like doing something silly and unrealistic like Nico breaking up with Percy for not liking McDonald's or something. Idk I like to be A LITTLE realistic lol.
