She didn't talk much in the beginning----and she hated that. She wanted to be someone new, someone.....better. So she put on a mask that would hide her true self in front of everyone. So they wouldn't know how lame, or stupid she was........too bad it was made of glass.

It was a warm Saturday afternoon, and I've actually took 3 naps today, 3. That's my new record, and I feel very proud about it.
Clara left a note on my table as I lazily grab.

I'm at Jane's today. I'll probably be home late so go order some Chinese with the money I left you. Don't do anything stupid, Charlotte.

XOXO---Your Queen.

I crumple up Clara's stupid little note and threw it inside the garbage can as I head out my door. It was almost 7, and I really wanted to walk around the park, so I quickly grabbed my green sweater and headed out the door.
I brought Clara's money with me because who knows----I might actually do something stupid today.

It was still warm and sunny today, which made me feel at ease since I knew it got dark around 9 so I had enough time to walk around the park. Little kids run past me with their friends as their parents try to catch up to them. A little girl trips right in front of me which almost made me stumble on her. She lifts her face from the concrete floor and I saw that her nose was bleeding none stop.

"Ow ow ow ow OW!!!! MOMMY!"
The little girl starts to scream while crying as I stand there, frowning at her. Little kids just bother me.
I sigh and pull out a hanker chief from my pocket and held it against the girl's nose. She looks at me surprisingly with her clear blue eyes while tears still fell. "You need to be more careful little girl,"

She stares at me blankly as she holds the hanker chief against her nose. I shue her away as she says thank you to me and walks back to her mom.
I kept on walking and walking until I finally made it to where I was supposed to be. The glistening pond shines as the sun hits it. I was finally at peace again, this is where I calm down.
As I walk down the little hill I realize someone was sitting on the bench where I always sit at.

"Goddamnit...." I mutter.
I still walked towards the bench anyways because that was the only bench that actually had a nice view. I casually sit down and try not to look at the person next to me, but I realize that the person was actually crying.

She had long, black wavy hair and she seemed to have been somewhere since she had her purse with her. My mind was telling me to go talk to her, but I don't want to get involved with her problem. But I did anyways.

"Hey.....are you okay?"
She stops sniffling and raises her head to look at me. Her eyes were all red and puffy with her mascara everywhere. She frowns while wiping her face.
"W-why do you care. You shouldn't be talking to strangers....."
She stops for a moment and just stares at me. This awkward tension made me look away and look at the pond.

"What's your name?" I asked.
She finally turns away from me and looks at the pond with me. "Kanna." She says. "What's your names?"
"Charlotte."
Kanna mutters my name, which made me feel uncomfortable.

"Can I ask why you were crying Kanna?"

I face her this time while she plays with her hands and not even look at me. She has a pretty small face, and glistening blue eyes that I just thought were beautiful. "School stuff...." She mutters.
"People are saying really bad things about me. I try to shrug it off, but I always end up crying where no one sees me. Oh and just to let you know, I'm the most popular girl at school. I can't ruin my reputation if people see me crying."
