[Nate's P.O.V]
I stared in shocked, as Sebastian was questioning my presence at my parents house. I didn't want to put him into any of my business. And what if he knows who I really am? He's going look at me like a freak.
"Are you going to answer my question, or just stand there in shock?" He asked.
"You don't understand, this-"
"You're breaking into someone's home Nathan" he yelled, interrupting me.
Jasmine saw us arguing, but I told her to keep on going. I can't believe he followed us here. I told him once I was done doing what I had to do then I would hang out with him. I didn't see why he would do this.
"I'm sorry, but this is none of your business. Can you please leave?" I pleased, as Jasmine was still unlocking the door.
He didn't even budge. He stared at me in disbelief, which made me feel awful inside. Should I just tell him and get over it? I can't believe that this is happening. My new friend accusing me without even letting me talk. I took a deep breath.
"This is my parents house, so technically I'm not breaking in."
"Shouldn't you just have a key?" He asked with a confused look on his face.
"My parents..." I began, but something was holding me back from telling him. "They disowned me."
His eyes widen. He took a step forward, but stopped right there. He threw his arm up, but swung it back down. He seems more confused from the start. He gave me the look of compassion, as I wiped the tears from my face.
"I'm sorry" he said, his face was turning red. "I just..."
I closed my eyes for a moment. I can either be mad at him for accusing me, or forgive him for his actions. He still didn't know anything about me, so why would he do this? I felt hurt, and untrustworthy.
"It's okay. I promise the next time that I have free time, then I'll be spending it with you. Okay?"
"Okay" he said, and with that, he walked to his car and drove back home.
"And... I got it" Jasmine announced, putting the lock picks in her pocket.
"You're sure the alarm is off?" She added, ready to open the door.
"Yup, luckily they didn't change the password" I confirmed, walking towards the door.
She opened it, and I closed it, locking the door behind us. We both headed to my father's office where the computer had all the information we needed.
I typed in the password, and waited a few seconds before the homepage popped up. Jasmine gave me the hard drive that we would be using to get the footage off the computer.
I went through our security files. The cameras record everything that happens on the hour. And it was around 4:30 when that happened. So I went to the file that said 6/10/15/4:00pm.
Yes! The file had the perfect shot of my mother slapping me across the face. I downloaded the file on the hard drive and took the hard drive out of the computer. I looked at the time, it was 2:10. The perfect time to delete the 1:00pm file, and discontinue the 2:00pm recording. I also shut the cameras down, so there was no evidence that we were here. Jasmine and I gave each other a high five and walked out the office.
"This was way too easy" Jasmine giggled, heading towards the door.
I stopped her right on her tracks, and pulled her back. The door knob started to shake.
