We had finished pranking the school and now we were celebrating at the grill. Elena's younger brother Jeremy had joined us and I was currently kicking his ass at pool. I couldn't remember the last time I was this happy. I was leaning over the pool table, about to take the winning shot when I first heard it.

A baby crying.

I quickly looked up from the table, my eyes scanning the room. Where was it coming from? It sounded so close to me but I couldn't see a baby anywhere in the Grill, not even a small child. I started turning in a circle. I couldn't explain it, I just needed to find the crying baby. It was instinct, I had to console this baby.

I felt a pain begin to radiate from what felt like the back of my brain. I was finding it hard to breathe... the crying, it was getting closer... if I could just figure out...

I sat up in a strange bed, Caroline was standing at the foot of it, holding what looked like hospital blood bags, with a look of shock on her face. "My baby..." I managed to choke out before confusion hit me, "Bonnie?"

"Jennifer? Jennifer, are you ok?" Bonnie's voice was asking me. I felt myself blink rapidly as Bonnie's face came into focus in front of me, "Are you ok?" she repeated.

I was once again standing by the pool table in the Grill. Bonnie was standing in front of me, holding my hand, with an almost determined look on her face.

"Are you here?" She asked me. I felt my brow furrow in confusion... Where else would I be?

"I... I heard something," I wracked my brain... what was it I had heard? "I heard something and then..." I tried to explain but it was fuzzy, like trying to remember a dream when woken up.

"It's ok," Bonnie said, a smile on her lips, "You just need to eat, you got a little light headed. I asked Jeremy to go get you some fries."

I felt myself nodding at her, "You're right, I did forget to eat today."

Jeremy arrived back holding a basket of fries, I thanked him and took them off him. I sat down and began to eat, I couldn't be sure, but I was convinced that Bonnie wore a look of worry whenever she thought I wasn't looking at her.

Maybe I was going crazy.

3rd POV

Niklaus was sitting in an armchair that he had pulled up beside his bed. He couldn't take his eyes of Jennifer as she lay still in her magical slumber. Elijah and Rebekah had yet to be in contact and Nik's patience was wearing thin. He felt so helpless sitting and waiting for a solution to fall into his lap. He barely looked up as Caroline entered the room. She had only left the room long enough to get some blood bags.

She started to offer a bag to Nik when Jennifer sat up with a start, a wild look in her eyes as she started right at Caroline. "My baby..." Jennifer gasped, "Bonnie?" Her wild look changed to one of uncertainty and in the next second she once again fell back on the pillows, unconscious.

Nik and Caroline hadn't moved at first, when the shock wore off Nik sat next to Jennifer, but she was gone again. Caroline's mind however, it was miles away. It was back in MysticFalls. "I think Elijah and Rebekah are talking to the wrong witches." She choked out.

Nik barely looked up at her, "What?" he asked absent minded.

"KLAUS!" Caroline shouted. Finally he looked at her. "Didn't you hear what she said?" The blonde asked.
