[Forum Post] Mysterious Academy?

I just got an interesting [Quest] in <Lucet City>. Seems like they're looking for would-be students to participate in some kind of an entrance exam at a magic academy.]

Academy? What academy?

[Zedi29:

You mean the [CLASSIFIED]?]

[CENSORED], so it's also classified in the forums, too.]

Seriously, what is this academy you guys are talking about?!]

[Merlin2Be:

Without spoiling the whole [Quest] line, it's some kind of a famous magic academy in <Lucidus>. I heard important NPCs in the kingdom studied there and you can earn some awesome rewards if you attend their classes.

I also heard you might have a chance to learn [Sign] magic there.]

[7PlayCool:

You mean the ones you can only learn through an event in the form of a [Hidden Quest] right?

Is that even true?]

[Zedi29:

I doubt it. If you already recall, [Sign Creation Mastery] can only be learned by [Insignis] characters. Unless you completed a [Quest] that lets you become a half-breed, it's nearly impossible for a non-[Insignis] character to learn it.]

[Merlin2Be:

Good point. It's all rumors here, so I also have doubts about it.

But the only thing I believe is a chance to enhance our magical abilities. Heck, non-mages can also attend as long as they can learn magic. It's just that they need to pass the exams first if they want to become students there.]

[Zedi29:

Are you planning to participate in it, Merlin?]

[Merlin2Be:

Of course! Why wouldn't I be? Plus, I can learn more of the [Quest's] story, including the graduates from the academy as well!]

[7PlayCool:

Speaking of which, did anyone bother to pay attention to the game's main story at all? I barely hear the NPC's dialogue whenever I accepted their small ones along with the Guild's.]

[Zedi29:

Same here. I get they had a famous author writing the setting and lore. But so far, it's mostly generic fantasy stuff to me.]

[Merlin2Be:

I don't know. I feel like it's leading up to something important. I read from another thread that there was a plague that happened in <Tested Wilds> or something.]

[Zedi29:

You mean the same one those two brothers completed? Now that you've mentioned it, I had a feeling something might follow it up. But there are no updates so far...]

[7PlayCool:

Actually, I think there is. I just got an interesting pop-up before I logged out. I took a screenshot of it. Take a look!

"A new development"? And it said it's for "certain players"? Is it talking about those two? And how did it trigger?]

No clue. But I have a feeling we might find out soon.

So, just a bit of an exclusive author's note. It seems like, for some reason, both the title and synopsis were deleted in Wattpad for some reason. I managed to restore most of it, but even I'm shocked at the sudden edits without my permission. I'll see what happened. But for now, everything is back to normal.
