Alone in the night

I'm alone in the night

Nothing has felt right

The sounds of the lies

I know it's good bye

You deserve better

So here is the letter

That will send you away

Keep you safe in the bay

Away from me

How safe you'll be

Alone in the night

No one to be my light

So I shall be a rock

And sink under the dock

Maybe next life

I'll be someone's wife

Or I can be a bird in flight

Flying in the clouds so white

Free to do as I please

Or buzz like a bee

Then I won't be alone

Your heart will be sewn

I shaint hurt you again

So it won't need to be mend

Hop on that train

My heart ca handle the strain

As long as I know you can smile

And be happy for a long while

I will do what it takes

Whether or not my heart breaks

In the darkness of the night

To keep you alright.
