In the afternoon outside in the courtyard, Lilith and Marcus appear, while a trunk fly behind them by a levitation charm done by Marcus.
Marcus: Quidditch is easy enough to understand. Each team has seven players. 3 chaser, 2 beaters, 1 keeper which is Amy Domenica it his last year as well and a seeker, that's you. There are 3 kind of balls. [picks up a red one] This one's called the Quaffle. Now, the chasers handle the Quaffle and try to put it through one of those three hoops. [Points to the hoops in the Quidditch pitch in the distance.] The Keeper, defends the hoops. [throws ball to Lilith.] With me so far?
Lilith: [spin the ball in her finger before throwing it back] Yes. What are those? [Points to the two squirming chained down balls.]
Clarisse looked eerily attracted to the game, she had guessed there would be a lot of hitting involved and she had to agree she was seeing the appeal in Quidditch. The other demigods? Not so much. They were already in danger by the mere virtue of their birth and the ichor running in through their veins and they didn't see anything positive in flying around in a broom after demented ball. "I like that," grinned the daughter of Ares.
Tony grinned, amused by her reaction, "That makes half of us" he said pointing at the wizard and himself. Lily and the rest of the old Potter-Black women look disgruntled by the mere mention of the sport and rolled their eyes.
"Why do I have the feeling I won't like those balls?" asked Poseidon(PJO), looking at the box where the Bludgers were being held. They looked dangerous and he had the feeling his beloved would encounter them more times then he would wish.
Loki smile mischievously. "Oh you have no idea" he said, agreeing with the other sea God. But still he prefer the other one.
Marcus: You better take this, princess. [hands Lilith a small bat. He bent down and releases one ball. With an angry growl. it flies off into the air. Lilith watch with mild interest] Careful now, it's coming back. [The ball come whizzing down, and Lilith with a smirk hit it with the bat in such force it goes straight throw one of the hoops, and without any damage. Making Marcus impress.] Not bad, princess. You make a fair beater. Uh-oh [the ball zooms down, and Marcus grabs it, wriggling to get it back in the box. He succeeds and is out of breath.]
Lilith: And what are these balls about?
Marcus: Bludger. Nasty little buggers. But you're a Seeker. And the only thing I want you to worry about is this. The Golden Snitch.[He hands Lilith a walnut sized golden ball.]
Hannah snort, "Fred and George are human bludgers." Making the other nod in agreement, while the twins let out a dramatic gasp while clutching their heart.
"How..." Fred
"Could..." George
"You." Both Fred/George.
Lilith: I like this ball.
"Figures", snort Sirius and James, amused by the way his daughter was looking at the snitch. James his best friend had been in the same way, even if he had been a better Chaser than Seeker. There was no doubt that James is proud of his daughter the way she turn out to be-he probably wouldn't have stopped talking about the fact she became a Quidditch player her first week.
Percy look between his mother and Zeus; having trouble imagining the God of Olympus leaving her to roam his domain. "I am going to be sick," he told Annabeth, holding his stomach.
Marcus: Ah, you like it now. Just wait. It's wicked fast and damn nearly impossible to see.
Lilith: Noting is impossible for me. And what do I do with it?
