Lily walked back and forth in her bedroom, she was going to confront Herman, but she didn't know what to say to him. She just wanted to kill him, he broke her heart for the last time. She left her room and went to the kitchen, "There you are, when's dinner?" Herman asked kissing his wife. Lily didn't bother to answer, she walked towards the knife rack and pulled out the longest and sharpest knife. "Lily... I hope you're just going to make food with that..." Herman said uneasily. Lily turned to face Herman, "Marilyn, go out please." Lily spoke, she had a hint of crazy in her voice. Marilyn stood up from the kitchen table, "Aunt Lily I don't thi-" "MARILYN GO OUT NOW!!!" Lily screamed. Marilyn was scared out of her wits, she had never seen Lily this way before. Lily slowly walked towards Herman, she held the knife up at her face ready to stab anyone who came close. Herman was in shock. His feet were glued to the ground, he couldn't move, Lily suddenly charged at Herman. Marilyn, not thinking threw herself into the blade, it struck Marilyn's left shoulder. She fell to the floor, Lily's eyes widened as she looked at her niece. "What the hell did you do?!" Herman ran to Marilyn, "Help! Someone! Grandpa, Eddie! Call an ambulance, quickly!" Eddie and Grandpa ran into the kitchen, they spotted Marilyn in Herman's arms and Lily standing above her with a bloody knife. "What did you do Lily?" Grandpa asked covering Eddie's eyes. "I- I didn't- it- w- was an acci-" Lily tried to explain herself. "Mom's a lunatic..." Eddie said. "No, no, tha- that's not true, i-" "Then if you aren't a lunatic then why did you stab Marilyn?!" Grandpa yelled. "I DIDN'T! SHE RAN INTO THE KNIFE, I WAS GONNA KILL HERMAN!" Lily shouted at the top of her lungs. There was silence for a minute, "Can someone please call an ambulance?" Herman asked. Grandpa went to the telephone and called 911.

Lily looked at Marilyn, she was passed out lying on a hospital bed. Lily felt like shit for what she did, "I'm a horrible person Marilyn." Lily said, she hoped Marilyn could hear her, "I'm a shitty person... I'm so sorry," She cried, "I just hope you can forgive me for what I did, I didn't want to hurt you. I'm sorry..." "It's okay, Aunt Lily." Marilyn held Lily's hand. Lily looked up, she saw her niece sitting up and smiling. "I forgive you Lily, I know you didn't want to hurt me." Marilyn said. Herman walked in, "Visiting time is over," Herman saw that Marilyn was up, "Oh, you're awake, that's good. Well, we have to go now. Let's go Lily." Herman grabbed Lily's arm and dragged her outside to the car where Eddie and Grandpa were. "Let me go, Herman! Don't bother talking to me because I HATE YOU!" Lily marched to the car and got into the back seat, as she did not want to sit beside Herman.

When they arrived back at the house Lily pulled Herman aside, "Herman." "Yes Lily?" "I would like for us to be separated." Lily said. "For a while?" "No." "What do you mean 'no'?" Herman asked, "For how long?" "Forever. I know you love Morticia, even though she doesn't love you." "How do you know that?!" "I spoke with Morticia earlier. She told me everything. I want a divorce Herman." "No!" Herman yelled. "Don't you yell at me, mister!" Lily yelled back. "I'M NOT YELLING!" Herman stormed off. "We're getting a divorce and that's that!" Lily screamed, she looked to her right and saw little Eddie staring up at her, he had tears in his eyes. It broke her heart when she saw him cry, "Oh Eddie, I didn't mean it." Lily walked over to him with open arms. Eddie ran to the dungeon, screaming "She's gonna kill me!" Lily made her way upstairs to her bedroom, she opened the windows and put her head out to look down. 'That's a long way to fall', she thought. She stepped onto the ledge of the window, 'Should I be doing this? Yes, I have plenty of reason too... My only child is scared of me, my husband loves another woman and I almost killed my niece...' Lily leaned forward, just as Grandpa walked in Lily let go of the window, as she hit the ground she woke up. Lily was sitting in the chair beside Herman, he looked at her, "You okay?" Herman asked.
