"Lily? Are you okay, all the colour has rushed back into your cheeks." Marilyn left her homework and sat up beside Lily. "Have, have we ha- had the Halloween party ye- yet?" Lily stumbled on her words. "Halloween party? What are you talking about Aunt Lily?" Marilyn looked confused. Lily's heart was racing, "Did... We... The Halloween party, you don't remember? It was awful, Herman. You loved another woman, you kissed Morticia Addams..." Lily pointed at Herman. "Morticia Addams? You mean the one in the black dress? The one that has a loving husband and 2 children? Why on earth would I love her?" Herman asked. "But, you-" "I would never love her, she isn't nearly as beautiful as you Lily." Herman smiled. Lily blushed, "So you don't love Morticia...?" "No!" Herman exclaimed. Lily kissed him on the cheek. "Ew gross, get a room you two." Eddie cringed. "Oh Eddie, you won't be saying that when you get a girlfriend." Marilyn laughed. Eddie stood up, "I'll never ever get a girlfriend," He ran up to his room, "EVER!" He yelled. Everyone laughed together, "Well I'm glad it was all a silly, stupid dream." Lily stood up, "C'mon Marilyn, let's get ready to go to bed." Lily and Marilyn walked upstairs together. "Well that was unexpected." Grandpa said. "What do you mean?" Herman asked. "The way Lily just woke up and started saying all that weird stuff." Grandpa explained. "Yes, I suppose that was unexpected... I better head up to bed." Herman said making his way upstairs. Grandpa went into his dungeon. When Herman got upstairs he stopped at his and Lily's bedroom door and listened to the conversation between Lily and Marilyn. "So what happened in your dream, Aunt Lily?" Marilyn asked combing her hair. "Well it all started when I organised a Halloween party, I invited over the Addams' and when the party started I couldn't find your uncle or Morticia anywhere in the house. So I looked outside, and what I saw was awful..." Lily stopped and looked at herself in the mirror, she remembered that in her dream Herman burnt her face, her eyes filled up with tears. "Oh Aunt Lily, what's the matter?" Marilyn stopped brushing her hair and put her hand on Lily's shoulder. "In my dream Herman burnt my face... He hated me in that horrid dream." Lily sobbed. "But that was just a dream, in reality Herman loves you. He would never go with another woman and you know that." Marilyn comforted Lily. "I know, I know." Lily dried her tears. "Well, its getting pretty late, so I think I'll go now. If you need anything you know where to find me." Marilyn smiled as she opened the door. Herman was standing outside, "Uh hello girls." He waved nervously. "Herman!" Lily stood up and walked towards him, "Eavesdropping on our conversation, how dare you." Lily put her hands on her hips. Marilyn walked out, "Goodnight Aunt Lily, goodnight Uncle Herman." She went to her room. Lily sighed and strolled to their bed, she patted the space next to her, "C'mon Hermy it's getting late." Lily lay down with a lily flower in her hands. Herman got in beside her, "I love you with all my heart Lily." "I love you too pussycat."
