I gape at him then look back at the house in front of us. It looked to be three stories tall. It kinda reminded me of a cabin... very big cabin. The roof was a dark wooden color while the sides were a lighter color. It stretched wide and I wondered what they would do in a house this big if only Tarris and his family lived here.
"Put me down," I demanded.
"Whatever the lady wants," he replied.
Immediately, he drops my legs. With him being so tall, it jarred my feet when I hit ground. I walk around to stand beside him and glare. "You did that on purpose," I accuse.
"Maybe next time you'll say please," He says smartly.
"Jerk," I mutter under my breath.
"What was that," He asks with a mischivious smirk.
Not heeding the warning, I nearly shout "JERK!"
The look in his eyes was nearly feral. When he raised his arms I took a few steps back. I was suddenly very worried. "Wait! Wait! I take it back! I take it back!" I say frantically.
He gives a wild smile that nearly gives me a heart attack. He shouldn't get to look that good. It's not fair!
I'm snapped back to reality when he started to speak. "You should really learn to be more nice," was my only warning, before he charged toward me.
I let out a high pitched squeak and ran for my life. I look behind me to see him right on my heel and I push myself to run harder toward the door. I make it to the door and wrench it open and take off again. He's getting closer! I realize as I felt his fingertips against my arm as I took off again.
"I'm gonna get you," he says threateningly.
"Sulma! Sulma, help me!" I yell. I choose last minute to take the stairs.
Suddenly a door opens close up ahead and Sulma runs out. "What!?! What is it?," she asks frantically.
"Help me!," I yell as I hide behind her. She looks at me then looks up to see Tarris barreling after me. She turns back to me and says with a smirk, "I'll handle this." I smile gratefully.
Tarris skids to a stop in front of Sulma, gasping for air. "Looking for something?" Sulma asks Tarris.
He smirks and says, "As a matter of fact, yes I am. And she just so happens to be behind you." He looks at me still smirking. I smirk back, there's no way he's getting me now.
"Well, in that case..." Sulma trails off and suddenly I'm pushed forward, "Here you go!"
"Wait, what!" I nearly shout.
"Thank you," Tarris says and slings me over his shoulder. I'm now facing the stairs.
"Sorry sis," Sulma says unapologetically," You don't get between mates."
Tarris laughs and begins walking with me still slung over his shoulder. As we pass Sulma, I hiss, "Traitor."
She only waves and goes back into the bedroom she came out of.
"Put me down, Tarris!" I exclaim.
"Not happening. I like the view," he says. He rubs my butt and gives it a pat. I begin to hit his back with my fists. "That's a nice massage," he says.
"Rrrrgh," I growl and stop, waiting to see where we'll end up.
He stops and I hear a door open before he steps inside. We had entered a bedroom. The walls were a gray color with little to no decorations. All the dressers were black with white handles. Suddenly, I'm tossed onto what I think is a bed. It had black covers with white and gray pillows. The bed dips as Tarris crawls over me.
"Now, what punishment should I ensue for your running away from me," he says teasingly.
"Umm, none," I say hopefully.
"Um, nah. How about..." He trails off.
His hands begin to lower to my sides and his face gets closer to mine. I look into his eyes and I'm instantly trapped. His green eyes are so dark they could be mistaken for black. His lips are only centimeters from mine. Just when I think he's about to kiss me, his fingers are suddenly tickling me mercilessly.
"Ahhh! Nonononono! Please!" I yell.
"Haha! You know the magic word," he replies while laughing.
"Never," I say. I had already given in once, I wasn't going to give again.
"Oh really?" He questions in a silky voice.
