Well, one month was about to pass since the previous incident, and Riti's life with Evan was going on as usual without anything special or any scolding. Riti learned everything he taught her and took her studies a little more seriously.
So, one day in college, Evan got a call to attend a meeting with other professors. The meeting was about sending a professor somewhere related to work , so it's needed to be a intelligent with good personality and looks.
So, of course, when they talked about good looks and intelligence, Evan's name came top of their lists. So, the deputy dean chose Evan to go there.
With Evan's upcoming trip, he would be away for two to three days. As a result, his classes at their college were rescheduled, with another professor taking over temporarily. Riti, however, was still unaware of this change.
At home, Evan was packing his bag, which sparked Riti's curiosity. She sat on the bed, watching him pack, and wondered, "Why is he packing his clothes? Are we going home?" Her curiosity grew, and she asked, "Why are you packing?" Evan replied, "I'm going somewhere for three days due to some college work."
Evan said, "In the morning, I'll drop you home." Riti's face fell slightly, knowing she'd be without him for three days. She asked, "So, about college...?" Evan replied, "Of course, you have to go. I'll ask Vivan to pick and drop you since his schedule is similar to yours."
Riti felt even more upset, shy at the thought of going with Vivan. She didn't say anything, and the next morning, Evan dropped her off at home. Since Evan had to leave early, he asked Vivan to drop Riti off at college.
At college, Kavya got excited when she heard the news, saying, "OMG! Now we'll get free time in Evan's sir class!" Riti replied, "What? No way! I don't think that's going to be possible. They'll probably put another teacher in his place."
Riti's prediction came true, and another teacher took over Evan's class. However, this new teacher seemed uninterested in the students and fell asleep in class. Kavya got an idea and whispered to Riti, "Hey, Riti, I've got an idea. Why don't we bunk the class?" Riti was shocked, "What? Are you crazy?" Kavya replied, "What's wrong with it? The teacher is also not interested. Instead of sitting here, let's go somewhere."
Riti was torn, feeling bored and wanting to have some fun. She said, "But if he finds out, he'll get very angry." Kavya understood Riti's concern about Evan and reassured her, "It's going to be okay, Riti. He won't find out. He's not even here. Don't worry, just let's go."
Riti agreed to skip class, and they both left as the teacher slept. Kavya, though not a bad girl, had a playful and fun-loving side. She took Riti to a restaurant, where Riti had her first experience of skipping class and having fun. They ate, laughed, and then headed to a game store, where they played games and continued their adventure.
As the day went on, Riti remembered that Vivan was supposed to pick her up. She told Kavya, who suggested, "It's okay, just call him and say you're running late because you're in the library." Riti replied, "But how will I get home? I don't know how to use public transport."
Kavya reassured her, "Don't worry, girl! I'll drop you home. My house is on the way, so I'll go with you, okay?" Riti felt relieved and called Vivan, telling him she'd be late because she was in the library. Vivan initially offered to wait for her, but Riti declined, saying she'd be fine and would come home on her own.
As they rode public transport home, Kavya exclaimed, "It's been so much fun today! Why not do it again tomorrow? Evan's sir class won't be there for the next two days!" Initially, Riti hesitated, but Kavya's promise of visiting an arcade the next day won her over.
The next day, they skipped class again and headed straight to the arcade, where they played video games and had a blast. In the evening, they returned home, where everyone assumed Riti had been in the library. Riti felt a pang of guilt, but she reassured herself that they would attend class the following day.
However, the next day, they skipped class again. This time, Kavya suggested visiting a club, saying, "Let's go there, Riti! I have heard from my cousin that they had so much fun at the club." They went to the club, and upon arrival, they saw boys and girls having fun together on stage. They felt a bit uncomfortable, noticing that everyone was dressed fancily, while they were in casual attire.
Kavya took Riti's hand and led her to the bar stand, saying, "See, Riti, there's every type of drink. Why not try one?" Riti declined, saying, "No, I don't think it's a good idea to drink. Let's go somewhere else." Kavya reassured her, "Come on, we're not kids or underage. We can drink whatever we want, legally. I'm not saying we should drink daily, just have a little taste."
Kavya and Riti ordered some drinks and took a sip of each, but their expressions were identical - they didn't like the taste. Fortunately, the small amount didn't have any effect on them. They decided to leave and go get ice cream to refresh their taste buds.
Meanwhile, at college, Evan returned earlier than expected, having completed his work a day ahead of schedule. He arrived at noon and, with some time to spare before his class, decided to take the class as scheduled. As he entered the classroom, he scanned the room, but Riti was nowhere to be found. He was taken aback and stepped out of the classroom to call home.
Evan asked his mother about Riti, and she replied that Riti was in college, as Vivan had dropped her off. Evan was confused and tried calling Riti, but she didn't pick up. He tried calling her three more times, but still, there was no answer. Losing his patience, Evan decided to take his class first. His stern expression intimidated the students, and they remained silent, not daring to cause any commotion. Evan, however, maintained his composure, as he never took out his anger on his students.
