As she examined the backside of the page, Riti realized that the colors had slightly bled through, making it a bit challenging to read. However, she managed to decipher the content and was shocked to discover that it was an Excel sheet containing students results. Panicked, she thought she had ruined something important.

Riti quickly placed her painting on the table to dry, knowing Evan wouldn't notice the backside of the page. She went to bed, trying to come up with an excuse, but her mind was blank. Feeling anxious, she decided to study to make a good impression on Evan.

On the other side, Evan had gone to a nearby grocery store to buy some essentials. Half an hour later, Riti heard him entering through the living room door. Her nervousness intensified, and she thought to herself, "I'm such an idiot. Yesterday, he have  showed me some affection, and now I've ruined it, I am really stupid. Now get ready for his scolding, Riti. He's going to be really furious."

Just then, Evan entered the room, and to his surprise, he found Riti studying.

Evan asked her, "What are you studying?" Riti flinched slightly and replied, "Zoology." He then inquired, "Which topic?" Riti glanced down at her book and said, "Body fluids and circulation."

Evan nodded and said, "Okay, revise it, and then I'll ask you some questions about it." Riti thought to herself, "Shit! I've made a mistake by opening the book. Now I really have to revise it. Seems like , I am really gonna get scolded today."

Riti refocused her attention on her book and start to revise the topic.

After some time, Evan takes her test , and to her relief, she answered all the questions correctly. She happily sighed, thinking she had dodged a scolding.

Later, they had lunch, and Riti got bored, so she started watching a movie on TV, becoming completely engrossed in it and forgetting about the page. After the movie, she began using her phone, and as night fell, they had dinner. Riti was about to sit on the bed when she saw Evan searching for something in the drawer of the study table.

Suddenly, she remembered the sheet she had painted on and realized she had forgotten to hide it. Panicked, she rushed to the table, picked up the sheet, and carefully held it so that only the front side was visible to Evan. She attempted to put it away with her other drawings, but unfortunately, as she was placing it inside, she accidentally turned it, revealing the backside.

Riti quickly tried to conceal it, but Evan stopped her, saying, "Wait!" She looked up at him fearfully, and he instructed, "Turn the sheet." Riti was terrified and refused to turn it, stammering, "I-its... my painting, t-there's nothing behind."

Evan's frustration was evident, and his glare made Riti even more scared. Her eyes dropped, and she understood that he wouldn't repeat himself. With trembling hands, she slowly turned the sheet, revealing the backside. Hurriedly, she apologized in a cracking voice, "I-I'm sorry, I didn't see..." Her words trailed off, filled with regret.

Evan's eyes widened in anger as he saw his sheet, filled with student results, now marred by Riti's colorful artwork. He had to submit that sheet the next day. His voice was icy and commanding as he said, "Get Out of the room."

Riti was paralyzed with fear, unable to muster the strength to even look up. She hastily placed her sheet on the table and left the room, leaving her phone behind. Evan's intimidating tone had left her shaken. She collapsed onto the living room sofa, feeling scared and terrible.

Meanwhile, Evan remained in the room, seething with frustration. He had to recreate the entire sheet, which meant a long night ahead. He sat down in the chair beside the table, opened his laptop, and began working. Evan had refrained from lashing out at Riti because he remembered how down she had been the day before. After everything she had been through, he didn't want to yell at her. Instead, he had told her to leave the room, unsure if he could control his anger.

It was almost 2 am when Evan finished his work. He looked at his phone and got up from his chair. He realized Riti was probably in the living room, so he quickly went to find her. She was asleep on the sofa, in a uncomfortable position.

Evan carefully picked her up in his arms, making sure not to wake her. He turned off the lights and carried her back to their bedroom. He gently laid her down on her side of the bed.

For a moment, Evan looked at Riti's peaceful face. Then, he leaned in and gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead. After that, he went to his side of the bed and fell asleep. The tension from earlier was gone.

In the morning, Riti woke up to find Evan already awake. She got freshened up, and felt a little nervous about going to the living room, remembering Evan's anger from the previous night. However, she knew that if she didn't go, he would come to get her himself.

She slowly made her way to the living room, where she found Evan had already set out breakfast on the table. She sat down on the sofa, feeling a bit awkward, and they had breakfast together. Then, they left for college.

Throughout the ride, Riti couldn't help but wonder if Evan was still angry with her. But when they arrived at college, Evan's words cleared up her confusion. As she was about to get out of the car, Evan said, "Listen, nobody knows about that incident, so don't feel awkward in your class, okay?"

Riti's face lit up with a smile as she realized Evan wasn't angry with her. She felt relieved and got out of the car and left for her class.

After college as they drove home in the evening, Riti gazed out the window, her mind preoccupied. She wasn't hungry, but she had a strong craving for something sweet. The longing was almost unbearable, but she couldn't bring herself to mention it to Evan.

As they continued driving, Riti spotted a cotton candy stall, and her mouth began to water. She remained fixated on it, but before she could react, their car had passed it. She felt a pang of sadness, wishing she could have asked Evan to stop.

Riti felt a lump form in her throat as she thought about how different things were now. If her parents were with her, she could have easily asked them to buy her cotton candy. But now, she felt hesitant to ask Evan.

As they approached a crosswalk, the car came to a stop, and Evan glanced over at Riti. He noticed her gazing longingly at an ice cream shop outside her window. He thought that she must  want icecream.

Before the light turned green, Evan asked her, "Do you want something to eat?" Riti found the question unexpected, but she didn't want to let the opportunity slip away. She replied, "Umm, ice cream."

Evan smiled and said, "Okay." He drove the car to the ice cream shop and bought Riti her desired flavour. With her craving satisfied, they continued driving straight home.
