Luke's P.O.V.
I really didn't want this job, but mom said I needed to earn some money to pay for college. I thought this was going to be a horrible first day but once I was introduced to the dark haired, dark eyed boy named Calum I was sure that was going to change.
Calum was showing me around the store, and telling me how to organize the CD's, but I really wasn't paying attention. I was just watching the way his hands move when he talks, and when says something embarrassing his face turns pink. The only thing I decided to pay attention to was the cash register, because damn those things were confusing. After Calum was done showing me how things work he just sat down and started listening to some music, at least I think he was because he had earbuds in. It wasn't long until a customer came in. It was a girl about my age, she had light brown hair and green eyes. I did exactly what Calum said and went up to her and asked if i could help her look for anything. She asked where she could find Green Day albums. Of course I payed attention to where those were. Once she picked out the album she wanted I rang it up and asked her to sign the receipt. Instead of signing it she put down her phone number, I wanted to roll my eyes but I smiled politely and waved at her when she left. As soon as she was gone I crumpled up the receipt and Threw it in the trash. I sighed and sat down next to Calum. He turned his music off and looked at me. He smiled and asked, "What? not your type?" I laughed, "No, not exactly." he look confused, "What do you look for in a girl then?" he asked. I just laughed again, "Girl? Try boy." he looked down at his hands and blushed. "Sorry, I shouldn't have assumed." he quietly said without looking up. I just stared at him, he was adorable, almost like a puppy. "Oh no, it's fine it happens all the time." I say with a smile. Then he looks up at me and smiles a little. It's silent for a bit then I ask, "What about you, what's your type of boy/girl?"
Calum's P.O.V.
I tensed up at the question because I honestly didn't know. I liked girls until, Mr. Gorgeous Luke Hemmings walked into my life, now I have no interest in girls. I look into his eyes...they're beautiful I could stare into them all day. Was I really falling for a boy I just stalked on Twitter a couple hours ago? I gulped not knowing how to answer this question. I mean I was pretty sure I was gay before now because I never felt a connection with any of my girlfriends. I looked away and gathered my thoughts. Finally I gathered up my courage and looked back to him, he had a straight face but it was filled with question, I guess he really wanted to know. I held his stare and said, "I like guys who," and before I could finish my sentence his face lit up with that gorgeous smile, and right then I knew, I had completely fallen for Luke," have blonde hair, cute smiles, and blue eyes, but are also funny and slightly shy, but confident in some ways like when they smirk." I wanted to slap myself, I just described Luke and he is right there. I felt myself blush and I looked down at the floor. Once I was sure my face wasn't pink anymore I looked up only to see Luke smirking.
Luke's P.O.V.
I didn't know what I was more happy about, him being gay, or him just describing me as his "type". I just smirked, I think I might like him too. I decided to tell him that I felt the same way. I stood up up and walked closer to him until I was right in front of his chair,"Well, I like boys with brown eyes, raven hair, tan skin, and a couple tattoos, with an adorable personality and are extremely shy." I said calmly. Calum didn't blush this time, he just smiled. Then I noticed the wrinkles by his eyes, and his smile lines, and I loved every single one. He then did something I was not expecting, he stood up so out bodies were mere centimeters away. I stepped forward slightly and our faces were so close I could kiss him. He wasn't showing any signs of stepping away so I moved my hand slightly and it touched his, he then reached for it and held it in his. He intertwined our fingers and stared into my eyes. After a couple minutes of just standing there, bodies pressed together and holding hands he smiled and let his head fall onto my shoulder. I laughed in response, "Hey, Calum?" I whispered he looked up at me with questioning eyes, "I was wondering if you wanted to go have lunch with me?" I finished. He hugged me and nodded. I sighed and led us to the door, words could not express my joy.
|| Yayyyy so that was the second chapter. I am actually very happy with this. I'm hoping to update tomorrow or maybe a short one late idk, we'll see!
