6- Unexpected

Calum's P.O.V.

     It's been two weeks since my lovely boyfriend,I'm so happy I call him that now, asked me to be his. It's been this long and I'm still buzzing I can't believe it. I'm sitting on my bed staring at the roof and thinking about Luke. I'm lost in thought when my mom yells at me to come down stairs. I groaned and slowly walked down the stairs. She was looking at me sternly, and holding my phone in her hand. I walked over to her and reached for my phone, she just yanked it back,"Who is Lukey?" she said sarcasm clear in her voice. I looked at her, she was not impressed I'm wondering if she already knew the answer. "Umm, h-he's a friend." I managed to stutter. She just looked at me in disbelief and scoffed,"Then why are you calling each other  babe, huh?" I was speechless, she went through our conversations. I din't say anything so she continued,"And what is this I love you  crap? Who is she?" I cringed, she thought it was girl. This is unbelievable I even said he, is she deaf? I Just looked to the floor and mumbled under my breath,"I-It's not a s-she." Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. "Are you gay?!" She shouted. I winced at the voice but just nodded my head."I'm sorry mom, I didn't even know. but Luke,  he's my boyfriend and we love each other and I hope you can accept me because this is who I am." I said trying to sound tough but it didn't really come across that way. She raised her wand as if she was going to hit me, and I threw my arms up to protect myself but she never hit me. I looked at her and she let her arm fall,"Okay" she sighed,"okay I guess that's okay, I love you Cal." I smiled and hugged her saying thank you a million times. I grabbed my phone and ran upstairs and back to my room. I laid back down on my bed. I knew my mom was like a really strong christian and I never would have guessed that she would accept me. I mean since my dad left a few years ago to be with a guy, I was just assuming she was really homophobic. I kept staring at my roof until I drifted off into a really deep sleep.

Luke's P.O.V.

    I decided that I would go surprise Calum with a date, so I jumped into my car and drove all the way to his house. I got there and his bedroom lights were out, maybe he's sleeping, I'll just wake him up by throwing rocks again. I picked up a pebble and chucked it at the window, nothing. I threw another one, nothing. I then eyed up the house and tried to decide if I could climb my way up to his room, his window was propped open. I made my own path up to his window and slipped inside. I smiled when I saw Calum laying there on his bed all curled up. He was truly gorgeous. I laid on the with him. I then said screw it and wrapped my arm around his body to pull him closer. His back was against my chest and he was making cute little snoring noises. Before I knew it I fell asleep cuddling this amazing boy.

Calum's P.O.V. 

     I woke up when the sun was shining right in my eyes. I quickly noticed an arm wrapped around me. I jumped and turned around to face the body next to me. I sighed when I saw that it was only Luke,"Relax babe it's just me." he said in his raspy morning breath. "How'd you get in here?" I asked, he just pointed towards the open window. I chuckled and snuggled my head into his chest and he pulled me closer. He kissed my neck and I sighed contently, I am so in love with this boy. I stared up at him and he stared back. Then there was knock on my door. It started to open and I expected it to be my mom, but it was just Mali. I was so relieved. She just smirked and said,"Breakfast is ready, love birds." The she closed the door. I looked at Luke and there was a second of silence then we started laughing. He said he had to go so I watched hum drive away and then I headed down to breakfast. This was an amazing start to today.
