Calum's P.O.V.

    It had only been 2 days since Luke found out about the elastic but he seemed okay with it. I don't even deserve to be with him, he could do so much better than me. why did I even think he cares he's probably embarrassed. (A/N italics are what they were thinking at the time) I got interrupted by a rock thrown at my window, I was never surprised by this anymore it was kind of Luke's "thing". I sighed and walked to the window and saw, of course, a grinning Luke. I didn't want to go anywhere, I just wanted to curl up in a ball with him and believe for just a moment that he will be there forever. Clearly he was way ahead of me because he pulled out a grocery bag filled with countless food items and like 5 movies. I smiled slightly at him and kissed him sweetly when he got into my room. We curled up on my bed and put on Mean Girls. He was sitting upright and I snuggled into his chest with my head tucked into the curve of his neck. He occasionally kissed the top of my head. When the movie ended we let the music from the credits keep playing. He pulled away slightly just enough to look into my eyes but I could still feel his warm breath on my nose. His blue eyes stared deeply into my brown eyes. His eyes flicked to my lips then back to my eyes. He leaned in as if but then just rested his fore head on mine, all while still looking into my eyes.

"I love you, cal. Nothing will ever change that, nothing will take you away from me. No matter what you tell me it will always be me who doesn't deserve you, don't think for a moment you aren't good enough for me. You are perfect and to see you this way kills me, no matter what happens I will always be there to save you."Luke whispered.

By now both me and Luke had tears in our eyes. He sealed his speech with a peck on my lips, but I needed to feel the butterflies in my stomach. So as soon as the little peck was over I reached my hand up to the back of his neck and connected our lips again. I had felt him smile into the kiss which made me giggle. We both pulled away from the kiss and cuddled close until we decided to put in another movie. This night was absolutely perfect. Maybe he did love me. We were only half way through our second movie when I fell asleep in his arms.

     I woke up in the morning, still wrapped in the same arms I fell asleep in. I looked up to see if Luke was still asleep and he was. So, I just sat there and watched him while he slept, mouth slightly open and small snoring noises coming out. I watched him until I saw his eyes flutter open, I smiled when he made a groaning noise while stretching which made him smile. He went to my bathroom which was attached to my room and got dressed to leave. Before he walked out the door I grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a tight hug,"I love you." he smiled and hugged me tighter,"I love you too." he said.

Luke's P.O.V.
I left Calum's house and drove to the music store I didn't even know why I still worked there, Calum didn't even have the same shifts as me anymore. I guess I just needed the money. The drive was enjoyable yet chilly since it had started to get colder and the heater didn't work in my crappy car. It wasn't a long drive to work but just long enough for me too listen to 2 songs, I listened too I Miss You by Blink-182 and American Idiot by Green Day. I arrived at work and sat behind the cash register. No one ever came by this store so I looked through the shelves and found a few albums so listen too. I popped the CDs into the stereo and sat back to enjoy the music.

Work didn't go by nearly quick enough but it wasn't horrible. I grabbed my jacket and headed outside to my car. I drove back to my house and parked in the drive way. I walked into the house and up to my room, I needed to write down some lyrics I thought of during the day.

I never want to be that guy, who doesn't even get a taste.

No more having to chase to win that prise.

You're just a little bit out of my limit.

It's been two years now, haven't even seen the best of me.

And in my mind now I've been over this a thousand times.

Cause it's almost over, let's start over.

I was about to continue when my phone buzzed in my pocket. I toke it out and saw a text from Calum

Cal-Pal:
Can you come over I have something I want to talk about.

I was really worried about what he wanted to talk about, but I didn't want to over react so I calmly replied

Me:
Alright, I'll be right over.

With that I grabbed my keys and walked to my car again. I drove a little faster than I should've because I didn't know what was wrong with Calum. Once I got to his house I didn't bother with my traditional rock throwing I Just climbed into his room. I saw him sitting cross crossed on his bed looking at me. I walked over to him and sat across from him mirroring his position. He took a deep breath and started,

"Okay so you know how yesterday you said that no matter what happens you'll save me?"

I nodded

"Go on" I said quietly.

Calum just stared me in the eyes and said,"Luke, will you save me?"

I looked at him deeply "Of course"
