I ran outside as fast as I could, and begin trying to get people out of the way of the Wrecking Crew. Everybody got to safety, aside from me, because the Wrecking Crew was right in front of me. I tried to think quickly, but somehow it just clicked in my head. I looked around whatever was about ten feet away.

Then I looked right in front of me and saw the Wrecking Crew surrounding me. What were they planning? “Well, well, what do we have here?” Wrecker said; I turned around to see where he was.

     “She’s puny!” exclaimed Bulldozer.

I rolled my eyes. “Shut it, big head. I’m actually tall.”

“Who are you?” asked Wrecker, keeping Bulldozer away from me by placing a hand on his chest.

“A human, just like you—except, you have Asgardian gifts.”

     “Name?”

“Hunter, Cody Hunter,” I answered, folding my arms, deciding it would be just a tad fun if I played myself out like James Bond.

“Well, Cody Hunter, it’s nice of you just to drop in on us like that. We’ve been looking for you.”

I kept my poker face on, and tilted my head to the side. “Oh, you are? How kind, I feel so special.”

“I’ve had enough of her!” Bulldozer growled like a dog. “Let’s get her!”

Every one of them charged at me. I had to think fast; I looked around quickly to see what there was. I quickly dodged out of the way when they all came at me, making them run into each other.

So easily defeated, but not for long.

I raced out of there as fast as I could, sliding over crashed cars every now-and-then. They gained their strength again and came running at me. But I ran faster than them—faster than I had ever run— and got out of their reach. I entered the forest behind the neighborhood. I swiveled through the trees and soon hid behind one of them, so I could catch my breath.

How did they know about me? I asked myself in thought. Was it because of my abilities? How would they know about my abilities before me?

I heard a couple branches crack and several trees fall behind me, so I started to run again. They saw me and raced after me. I tried to get out of their reach, but they caught up to me, and Piledriver grabbed me.

“Let go of me!” I shouted at him, trying to break free from his grasp, but it was useless. He was holding me tightly. I glanced at Piledriver before looking back in front of me, where Wrecker now was. “What do you want with me?” I questioned him; he laughed a little.

“We’re taking you to someone,” Wrecker answered gruffly. I struggled even more.

“Who? Why?” I interrogated. “Just let me go!”

“Piledriver, give her the knockout gas.” Wrecker said. Piledriver pushed me to the ground, and I tried to get up. He sprayed me with a gas. In moments I blacked out.

                                                ___________

I woke up and everything was blurry, but from what I could make out, I was in some type of container, like one from in a movie at a dock. I got up slowly out of what I could make out as a bed. I glanced around the giant container to try to find a door. Right in front of me was a large door.

They didn’t have to do that to me, I thought to myself. Though, I guess I wouldn’t go willingly, either.

I walked toward the door and started to punch it. It bent a little. I kept pounding and pounding, but the door wouldn’t completely open. All of the sudden, a loud pound came from the other side of the door.

I stopped and stared at the door. “Don’t worry, we’re getting you out!” shouted an unfamiliar voice from behind the door.

     Who was we?

The PA system rang throughout the container as it beeped, making me cringe and cover my ears. That was incredibly loud… The laughter of the Wrecker soon echoed without the beep.

“Well, well, you’re awake.” He began to say. “You are going to be going to sleep again soon. HYDRA has is going to seep into the container and choke you to death. Bye, bye Hunter.” He laughed some more and turned the radio off.

Green gas started to come in. I held my breath before the gas surrounded me. I started hitting the door again, letting my breath go. “Help!” I screamed. “Please, whoever is out there, help! I can’t breath!”

“Hold on!” the muffled voice commanded. “We’re almost there.”

I coughed loudly as I felt my lungs burn from the poisonous gas. I sucked in a deep breath, but it made it worse. I collapsed onto the ground, finding it easier to breathe, because of the oxygen on the ground. It didn’t last long, but I held my breath now.

Blackness crept into the corners of my eyes as I faintly heard the door blow open. Two dark figures came running towards me. One of them picked me up bridal style.

“Don’t worry, you are safe now…” I dozed out before I could hear the rest of it.
