The secret of the wand

Mack-part 13

     I wipe away my tears and we use the transportation spell to get to the hospital an hour away. Dad was coming home for work. He was coming home 10 minutes early to see me and someone ran a red light and hit the side of his car. Who hit my dad is unknown, he drove away, but bystanders got his license plate and the type of car. The persons  car was undamaged. It is a black van with the license plate was' gangster '. The windows were dark so no one could see in.
                Darby says the spell,"Moving from here, To over there, I can make you move, Anywhere, Now vanish right from this spot, It will now move, I kid you not. Hawaii hospital,'' Darby chants. A Second later, we are in an ally next to the hospital. I am glad that we did not just appear in side. That would be hard to explain.

     We go to the doors of the emergency room. We walk inside and go to the front desk. " Hi, what room is Carter James in?" Sarah asks. Carter James is my dads name. My last name is James.         
              '' He is in room 723.'' she says with a smile. '' Thank you,'' replies Sarah with a fake smile. I start to feel tears welling up in my eyes thinking of my dad's name.
           '' Its ok,'' says Darby. I lay my head on her shoulder as a few tears fall on her hot pink top. Everyone is all dressed up but me. I did not have time to take a shower and get on cute clothes to go eat. I am wearing shorts and a tank top. I called mom before I got  in the shower.

          We get into the elevator and Talyn presses 7. We stand in silence. I wipe away my tears to try to look brave for dad. We walk to room 723 and knock on the door. Mom opens the door and pulls me into a hug.  I walk over to dad. He is asleep. I sit down in the chair next to his bed. " We are sorry Mrs. James." says Sarah hugging her.
                " I wish that I could just go back in time and call your father to stay 5 more minutes at work,'' she says.
" And please, call me Amanda,'' mom says giving an obviously fake smile. My friends look at each other and smile. I do not know what they are thinking, but i can tell that they are planning something.
                   " Mack can we talk to you real quick? " Says Talyn. ugg I do not want to leave my dad, but i can tell they think it is important, what ever it is, by their faces.
               " OK," i sigh. I get up and trudge outside the door. Sarah closes the door with a huge smile on her face. "What," i say annoyed.
               " We can go back in time, call your dad, tell him to wait an hour before he comes home because we will be later! Then none of this will happen!" says Sarah excitedly. I cannot believe that i did not think of that before! A smile creeps across my face.     
                "Let me go back and fix that mistake or let me go forward and see what to take. Back to this morning!" I say happily.
