The secret of the wand

Darby-Part 16

                     Mack opens the car door and gets in.  She is wearing a cute dress with a leather purse and cute cream colored flats. I like her outfit. I am wearing a pink dress that goes to my knees with high heals. I have a white jean jacket that goes over it and a gold handbag. My hand bag matches my necklace and high heals. One of my best outfits. I am from Canada, so I love the warm weather here. I do not like cold weather. I have not told you a lot about me yet. Here is some information about  me. I have four siblings three sisters and a brother. My poor brother is 12. His name is Curtis. My youngest sister is 9. Her name is Logan. My other 2 sisters are twins. They look exactly alike. They look like me more than Logan. Logan has red hair and we have blonde hair. Logan is short for her age and we are tall. The twins names are Faith and Grace.  Faith is the oldest by five minutes. They are 14. They are best friends with Sarah's sister, Linda. Also the name of my mom. Talyn's younger brother, Austin, who is off at summer camp right now, Is friends with Curtis and Sarah's brother Tyler.

                                          I am in deep thought until ANOTHER Justin Bieber song comes on. " Baby, Baby Baby ohhh" I hear Talyn sing in the back. We all groan and I change the station. A couple songs play before we get there.

                                         When we pull into the parking lot, we see that Talyn's parents is already here. Sarah pulls her jeep into the parking spot next to Mr. and Mrs. Harris' car. They drive a small blue Prius. Talyn has a Prius too, but her's is black.
We get out of the car to greet them. They get out of their car too. " Where is Trevor?" Asks Bethany when she does not see him get out. " He will be here in a minute. When we were waiting here for you guys he went to the bathroom. " replies Mr. Harris. "Oh ok," she says. We stand there in silence for a minute. Mrs. Harris breaks the silence saying, " Are you guys ready for school next month?" Bleh school. " I think so but not excited for the work," I reply with a smile. " You are a nurse right?" Asks Sarah. " Yes. This is my 8th year. " Oh ok. I was asking because Bethany is wanting to either be a nurse or a doctor. What do you think she would like better?" Bethany smiles as Sarah says that. What I want to do is be an author and also foster animals from shelters. Sarah and I plan to do that together. Sarah wants to go into cosmetology and also be an interior designer. She loves decorating and doing makeup. She is a natural. Just like me and writing books. " Well it depends on Bethany. " she replies to Sarah. " I am leaning towards being a doctor," she says.
Trevor walks out of the bathroom as Sarah's parents pull up in their red expedition. Mr. Darling, her dad, pulls into the parking space three cars away from Sarah's. I don't have a car yet, but I want a blue Ford Explorer. My parents pull up in the parking lot behind Mack's parents. They both have blue cars. I don't know what kind Mack's parents have but my parents have a blue truck. Bethany's parents have a old brown truck. I wonder where they are. Everyone says hello to each other. " My parents will be 10 minutes late. Let's go inside and get a table," says Bethany. " Ok," we all say. We walk inside and have to wait 5 minutes while they put tables together. We have 23 people.

When we get to our table I sit next to Sarah and Faith. Faith is next to Grace. Sarah is sitting next to Tyler, her brother. I order Coke as a drink and so does my brother and sisters. Sarah orders sweet tea and so does her parents and siblings. Sarah and I are going to split a 'Flo's Filet' steak. After we all order our food we all talk about our camping trip. We tell them how we went on walks and went swimming in the ocean and saw a lot of pretty colorful fish. One of them was the Hawaii state fish, the humuhumunukunukuapuaa, or reef triggerfish. We left out the getting magic powers part. We can tell them in private where no one else can here. After 30 minutes Bethany's parents finally get here. They go sit next to her. Bethany is sitting next to Trevor. Both of them have been pretty quiet. I wonder why.
