•Mallory•Basically all day, we've been sitting around and watching TV.
It's 3:45 pm right now, and mom, grandma and Savannah went to the store. And I'm bored.
"I'm bored." I complain. "Well isn't there anything to do around here?" Sebastian asks, while playing with Fluffy.
I think of some things, and then it dawns on me. "Hey Sebastian, do you believe in ghosts?" I smirk.
He gives me an annoyed look, "Honey, I'm a demon. What do you think?"
"Shut up. Anyways, the old family house is behind this one, a bit into the woods. I've personally never lived in it, being the last time it was ever inhabited was in the 1930's. Anyways, the kids used to go in it all the time, and rumor has it it's haunted. Basically everyone on my grandma's side of the family that lived there died in there, such as my great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a few cousins. And obviously some deaths of animals were there, too. I actually caught something on camera, before. You wanna go look around in there?" I ask.
He gives me a smirk, "Let's go."
We walk through the woods, down the old dirt path down to the old house. Once it comes into view, Sebastian smirks. It's two stories, and has a rusted tin roof, and the house itself is a beyond faded sky blue color. The windows are broken, and covered in layers of dust. The screen door is propped open with a rock, and the dirty white wooden door itself is shut. "I wonder if it's locked." Sebastian says as we walk up to the front door. I twist the doorknob, and barely even shove it, and the door flies open with a loud creak. I smirk, and walk into the house. The cement floor is covered in dirt, and the house smells musty.
To the left is the living room, which the floor is covered with boxes and old toys. And on the right, is the master bedroom. And straight ahead, is the kitchen and stairway. "Let's check out the bedroom first." I say.
We walk the few steps in there, and look around. "What the hell is that?" Sebastian asks, pointing to a creepy painting. It looks like a person with no skin, and rotten teeth. I let out a laugh, and pull my phone out. I take a picture of the ridiculous failed attempt at art, and continue to take in the room. There's an old chair, as well as some drawers, and an old stereo, where it looks like a table.
I walk over to the stereo, and look inside the two boxes on top of it. One of them is filled with creepy ass old broken toys, and the other is filled with books. I pick some of them out, a few were bibles, and one of them made me creeped out, but laugh. It was a really old book, made to perform exorcisms and such.
Sebastian's back is turned to me, and I smirk and open the book.
"Exorcizamus te, omnis
Immundus spiritus, omnis.." I begin to read. Sebastian frantically turns around, scared out of his mind. "No, no, no, stop!"I smirk, putting the book back down. "Are you crazy? If you would've continued, I would've been sent back down to Hell! Where did you even find that?" He asks. I laugh, "You should know that I wouldn't've continued. And I found it it that box. They must be my great grandfather's, he was a preacher."
"Yeah, well, let's get out of this room." He says. We walk into the kitchen, to find cabinet doors open, as well as a milk carton in the sink, and a table with some chairs. Not much to see in here, really. We can see the bathroom and laundry room from right here, so we don't go in there. There's broken glass in there, anyways. We walk into the living room.
Like I said before, there's a lot of old toys. There's one of those old horse things that little kids will sit on and the horse moves back and forth, I forget what it's called. Now that looks creepy. Sebastian walks over to an old crochet set, and grabs one of the mallet thingys, "I'm not taking any risks." He says, heading over to the stairs. He's more scared than I am...
I turn the flash on my phone on as we head up the steps. I see a large brown recluse crawl down a step, and I grab the "weapon" from Sebastian. "No, it's Claude! Die! Die! Get away!" I scream, as I beat the spider with it.
Once it's dead, we continue up the steps.
We enter the foyer that separates the two bedrooms. There are old crayons scattered across the old brown carpet, as well as a box of old dolls and Barbies. Creepy...
We head to the bedroom on the left, seeing clothes hangers, and boxes of clothes and toys. Not much in here. We go to the other bedroom, finding the same thing, except there's an old TV sitting on the floor.
I pull out my phone and start recording the area, being up here is where most of the paranormal activity happens. I turn around facing the foyer, and when I do I let out a scream.
"Savannah what the actual fuck?! You can't do that shit!" I yell. "Well excuse me! Y'all weren't home when we there so I figured y'all would be down here, like, doing weird stuff." She says. "Like what, trying to raise the dead?" I ask, staring at her. "No. Doing things." She smirks. "Oh hell no, shut up." I complain.
"Well, have y'all seen anything so far?" She asks. I shake my head. "Same shit that's always been down here." I say. "This place is freaking creepy." Sebastian puts in. "Obviously. That's why we came down here, you idiot." I roll my eyes.
"Um.. What's with the game equipment?" Savannah asks, pointing to the makeshift weapon that's still in Sebastian's grip. "He's scared." I snicker. "Oh my God, Sebastian Michaelis, the big bad demon, is scared of an old house!" Savannah says, throwing her head back in laughter. "I'm not scared. I used in in case we saw a spider... Which we did." He mutters.
"Okay, can we just leave now? I'm hungry." I say. Savannah nods her head, and skips down the stairs. "Come on, darling." Sebastian sighs, picking me up, and walking down the stairs. "I can walk myself, you know." I groan. "I know. But I felt like carrying you around."
"Why do you like to carry me places so much? I've got to be heavy." I say, looking up at him. "Not at all. You're actually lighter than the young master." He smirks at me. I roll my eyes, knowing he's not going to put me down.
*back at the house*
"So y'all went to the old house today?" My mom asks, picking at her chicken. "Yeah. It was... Interesting." I say. "Cool. Oh and tomorrow, all of us are gonna go out." She smiles. I raise an eyebrow, "Walmart?"
"No. I haven't thought about it yet. Maybe the mall, we'll probably go out to eat, too." She says. "Swag." Savannah says, shoving hot Cheetos into her face.
********
"We should match tomorrow." Sebastian says, staring at me from his spot on my bed. "And what exactly do you have in mind?" I ask, continuing to brush my damp hair. "Hold on." He says, and jumps up, heading over to my closet. I put the brush down, and adjust my shirt. He pulls out my grey cardigan, a white shirt, black skinny jeans, and my black monochrome Converse. "This." He says.
I just smirk and shake my head, "I'm going to bed."

*random persons pov*
I look at the two through the window; disgusting. That should be me holding her like that.
Why the hell is he protecting her? I mean who's gonna attack her? Her cat?
How can demons love?
I mean I know I'm a demon, but still. I only want her for her looks; and I'll have her.
At least I don't have to worry about Claude, though. Just her actual boyfriend.
Wait, that sounded better in my head.
Will he still stay when he finds her secret out, though? But the girl doesn't even know...
Whatever.
