Chapter 9: back at the Gilley home; day 3

•Mallory•

"Aww, you two match! How cute!" My mom squeals. I glare over at Sebastian, even though he doesn't notice.

"Can we go now?" I ask. "Yeah. Come on." Mom says, and we all follow her out to the car.

"CAN WE GO TO HOT TOPIC?!" Me and Savannah ask, as we walk into the mall. Mom sighs, "I don't care."

"YAY! CARRY ME, SLAVE." I excitedly yell, jumping on Sebastian's back, and hitting the back of his head. "That hurt. And okay." He says, and me, him, and Savannah race towards Hot Topic.

Hot Topic is my child.

As soon as we're inside the store, Sebastian puts me down, and I run towards the band merch. I pick up a Bring Me The Horizon shirt, All Time Low, Slipknot, Black Veil Brides, and Pierce The Veil stuff.

Savannah is over at the Pop Culture section, looking at Disney stuff. I walk over there, and a The Nightmare Before Christmas necklace catches my eye, so I pick it up.

"Ah, cats are so perfect." I hear Sebastian say from the other side of the store. He's holding a cat stuffed animal, and talking to it. Oh wow...

"Yo Mallory, imma go check out. I'll go find mom, you hang out with your psycho boyfriend." Savannah says, and walks towards the register.

When I walk over to Sebastian, I see him holding a bunch of things. When he sees me, he holds up a Batman brush. "I wanted one like yours." "I'm so glad you won't be using mine anymore. I keep finding black hairs in it... Ew." I shudder. "Your hair gets in brushes too. It isn't gross." He says. "I pull mine out, though. I'm pretty sure that's what you're supposed to do." I roll my eyes.

"Okay." He shrugs.

"Where are we eating?" I ask my mom. "I WANNA GO TO CHICK FIL' A!" Savannah screams. "I want some waffle fries now." My mind wanders to food.

Me, Savannah, and Sebastian are sitting at a table, while my mom is ordering the food.

She couldn't trust us.

Savannah is sitting in the corner across from me, quietly chanting the word chicken over and over again.

*lets skip food bc I'm hungry*

•Sebastian•

"I'm sooo tired." Mallory groans, falling on her bed. "How?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "I'm always tired. You should know that."

"You got a point, there. If you're tired, go to bed." I say. "What time is it?" She asks. "10:30."

"Okay. I'm going to sleep. Disturb me and I kill you." She says, and throws blankets over herself, and goes to sleep.

She sleeps a lot.

I'm bored. I guess I could hang out with Savannah.

I get up and hop down the stairs, to find Savannah watching some movie.

"Ahh, it's so sad!" She cries, clutching a box of tissues. "Are you okay?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "No! It's too sad!"

"What is it?" I ask. "If I Stay. They just put it on Netflix. IT'S SOOO SAAAAAD." She wails, falling over on her back. "If it's sad, then why are you watching it?"

"Because I wanna see if Mia comes back." She says. "Um, I don't know who that is." I say. "The main character. She's the one in the c- OH MY GOD ADAM FINALLY GOT TO SEE HER!!!"
