I don't really enjoy talking about my life. I've never been one of those really open people to be like, well this and this happened to me and this and this is how I felt about it. I always thought those kinds of people were a little... Desperate for attention.
I've never really been the closed off type of person either. I told my friends stuff. Just not the important stuff. Like for when he came into my life.
Of course everyone knew who he was. They just didn't know what he was. Well he was amazing. That's who he was. And even two years later I still think the same thing. That's just how amazing the adventure was. But no one knows about it.... Well not many.
I feel as if I should share it... So I'll just start with the first day I met him... This was also the first day of junior year in high school.
Two years ago:
"Bringggggggg!"
The bell went off just as I had gotten in the school. I curse loudly, the curse word flinging around the hallway. I quickly covered my mouth chuckling, a little as I walked quickly down the hallway toward homeroom.
When I got to the classroom I opened the door slowly trying to prevent as much attention as possible. Of course, it had to be one of those things that never work, because as soon as I got the door even quarter of the way open, all eyes were on me.
I grimaced a little and sighed, just walking in and closing the door behind me.
"Bad way to start off the year Ms. Grace." Mr. Smith said with a click of his tongue.
I grimaced a little, "sorry." I muttered and immediately went to sit down at an empty desk near the back.
"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted...." It was about that moment I tuned him out. It was the same thing every year. Don't wear this, don't do this. School rules are this and this. It was like entertainment for teachers to watch their students practically die of boredom. Like something that fuels them for the rest of the semester.
At that particular moment the door open again. In walked the principle with a student on his left side. I raised an eyebrow and looked at the student.
"This is Alexander Greene; he's in your homeroom." He told Mr. Smith gesturing to the boy who looked as calm as a corpse.
Mr. Smith looked at him and gave him a little smile. "Hello Alexander, I'm Mr. Smith." He said nodding a little, "just sit right next to that young lady back there. Miss Grace, please raise your hand."
I sighed a little and slowly raised my hand high enough so he could see it. He nodded plainly and walked over to the empty desk next to mine and sat down. I glanced away and knowing it was rude to stare, faced the front of the room again. The class however, had completely forgotten the rudeness of staring and just sat there gaping at him.
It would make sense after all. The guy was beyond hot. No one hot came into the room and didn't get stared at, but still, it was impolite. One of the girls looked at me clearly jealous that he had been told to sit next to me. I returned her stare with a look that said, 'are you really going to resort to that?' Her face turned slightly red as she looked away from me and faced Mr. Smith again.
The principle left and went back to his speech about the school dress code and I looked down at the writings on my desk, I had drawn a year ago. I chuckled at the little cupcake that had the stupidest grin on its face.
