I closed my eyes tightly, waiting for the loud crash that was sure to come. Then i was waiting for the glass to hit my face, and the car to flip over and fall into the ditch. I didn't want to die! I was too young; I was a junior in high school for crying out loud! Well, maybe it wouldn't be so bad.... who was i kidding, I didn't want to die!

I felt tears come out of my eyes, for I was still waiting for the truck to hit the car. The car was so close.... How come it hadn't crashed yet? I slowly opened one eye to look out the window. We were driving normally.

My other eye opened, and they widened as we drove casually down the road, "What the...." I looked at Alex confused.

"Weren't we just about to crash?" I asked him my voice coming out shakily.

"What are you talking about?" Alex asked glancing at me, a confused expression crossing his face as he looked back at the road again.

"We were just about to crash!" I shouted at him. Why was he playing dumb? No one could dream that in such detail, and i hadn't even fallen asleep.

Alex looked at me and chuckled, "I think you let your imagination get the best of you Grace." He told me grinning.

"I swear it just happened though!" I accused, "why are you lying to me?"

"I'm not lying to you though," He answered looking back at me confused, "I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about."

I paused and looked at his serious expression. He looked back at the road and I frowned. Maybe I was daydreaming it, why would he lie about something like that anyways? I'm not dead and that's all that matters. "S-sorry." I stuttered out as I looked away embarrassed.

"Hey, I have to make a stop somewhere before I drop you off, okay?" He glanced at me and I heard a crash of thunder, a streak of lightning flying across the sky.

"Okay." I mumble as I pulled my jacket closer to me, starting to feel a bit cold.

No more than five minutes later, Alex pulled onto a rocky road and started driving down it. The rocks caused the car to bump viciously and I found myself almost hopping out of the seat several times.

"My God, why don't you go slower?" I asked, shooting daggers at the side of his head as I held onto the edges of the seats with my hands.

Alex laughed a little, "Because it's fun." He replied simply as he pulled up to an old looking three-story house and parking. "I'll be right back okay? Don't get out of the car." His tone was serious as he looked at me.

I slowly nodded raising an eyebrow, "okay then."

He gave me a small smile and opened up his door and got out of the car, into the pouring rain. He put his hands over his head as he ran toward the house and knocked when he got up to the door.

I watched as the door open, revealing a buff man who let him in immediately. He looked at the car and his eyes met mine. I stared at him and he grinned shutting the door as soon as Alex had walked into the house.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I changed the radio station leaning back onto the seat closing my eyes tiredly.

I was just about to doze off when i heard a loud knock at the window. I opened my eyes and looked out frustrated. When I saw no one I sighed and started to get comfortable again, glancing out at the window.

"BOO!" Someone shouted jumping up. My eyes widened as my body pressed against the seat and I let out a scream.

The person standing there started laughing hysterically, his hair sticking to his forehead. It was indeed the same buff guy from the door.
