I sat down in Mr. Henry's office with a huff as I slumped down in my seat. Mr. Henry walked in and glanced at me smirking a little,
"We're just waiting for a call from the principle telling you to go down there." He stated his tone softer then it was in the cafeteria.
"Then why am I waiting in your office?" I asked raising my eyebrow a little in curiosity.
He pulled a school T-shirt out of a bag and handed it to me, "you have spaghetti sauce all over your shirt." He replied nonchalantly.
My face turned a light shade of red as I nodded, "thanks... Can I leave now?" I asked fingering the shirt a little as I put it in my lap.
He nodded, "You may, but come back after you're done changing." He told me and I got up and left the room without another word heading toward the bathroom.
I stepped into the girls' bathroom and walked into a random stall. As I was changing my shirt, two girls walked in laughing.
"She's such a bitch." One of them said as they giggled. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. I knew that we had the preppy girls in school, but I didn't know girls did this kind of stuff, standing in the bathroom and talking about some other girl who probably didn't really deserve the insults at all.
"I hope Adilyn gets suspended, she shouldn't have put that spaghetti on Cameron's shirt like that!" A different girl replied her tone turning icy. I covered my mouth to keep from recipe. Yup, it was just like the movies.
"I know! I mean, at least he's giving her attention. She should be grateful! Instead she's... An ungrateful bitch." She said slowly as she tired to think of the word, but failed to do so properly.
This time however, I did snort and the girls went silent. I opened the stall and came out glancing at them, rolling my eyes. "Or, you're just too blinded by infatuation to realize how much of a dick he is." I deadpanned, before I walked past them. "Oh, and pity way to make fun of someone." I say glancing behind me as I walked out of the bathroom.
There faces were bright red when I glanced at them and I snorted as I started heading down the hallway back to Mr. Henry's room.
"Girls are so catty." Someone commented from behind me. I jumped a little and turned my head to find out who owned the voice.
My eyes met a guy leaning against the girls' bathroom wall. I looked at him curiously and turned around. He looked oddly familiar, but not familiar enough for me to know him... "I think girls are just overdramatic." I replied slowly.
The corner of his lip twitched up in a smirk as he walked over to me holding out my backpack. "You forgot this" He said simply.
I grabbed it and slowly nodded my thanks looking up at him and furrowing my eyebrows in curiosity. I saw a bit of died spaghetti sauce on his shirt, and immediately recognized him. My eyes narrowed as I glared at him, "you're one of Cameron's friends." I informed him dumbly.
He chuckled and ran a hand through his hair shrugging. "I wouldn't exactly say friend, just the new kid in school who got chosen to be the new add on to the group." He declared softly.
"Well I wouldn't suggest you hang around him, he's an ass." I notified and turned around.
Before I could even take two steps away from him, he grabbed my arm. "Is it because he's your ex?" He asked me.
My eyes widened a little and I turned around again. "Excuse me?" I asked slightly dumbfounded.
"Do you hate Cameron because he dumped you last year?" He asked with more detail his lip twitched up in another smirk.
