Monster Hunting (Sp/Pjo)

The Story Commences

Me and Skulduggery were monster hunting. Oh how fun.

And it just so happened that the most dangerous monster was under Gordon's house, in the caves of the dead guy that wanted be to be his "Queen of the Darkness ".

We just found out recently that most of the monsters we face are Greek monsters, and that they can reform, so I was really hoping that it wasn't the Grotesquery, back for revenge.

Anyway, we got to the cave and picked up a light jog, just in case there was anything too powerful for us.

Yeah, right. Too powerful for me or Skulduggery alone, maybe, but together, not a chance. Name it, we've beat it.

Or at least tried and then retreated, or as Skulduggery calls it, "advancing in reverse ".

I wish I still had Darquesse, maybe then I could win all my battles.

Kidding, I'm just kidding. I hope.

Well I would say we could use Lord Vile too, except that he wasn't Skulduggery's true name.

Which would explain why he was only a Necromancer, unlike Darquesse and Agreddion.

I couldn't see why we couldn't have left the monster to Fletcher and his Monster Hunting friends.

Me and Skul read the air to check if the monster was near. I still must have sucked at reading the air, because Skulduggery noticed something that I didn't notice.

He froze on the spot and went very rigid.
