019 •The Accident

"Y/n! Where were you for so long?! Paimon and Aether got worried!" Paimon said while she jumped on Y/n hugging her. The h/c haired female chuckled at that and patted her head. Aether came to her side and held her hand. "Next time we will go together." He said to which Y/n just rolled her eyes.

"Vacher..." Someone called out. The two traveler looked to the side. And then checked if they both heard the sound. "Huh, looks like we're back here again... Huh, Y/n? Aether? Are you hearing voices again?" Paimon asked after she saw both of them looking at the water. "Yes..." Both of them replied. "Uhhh... That's kinda spooky. Are you sure we don't wanna come back in the morning?" The flying child said now getting a bit scared. "Vacher... Vacher..." The voice called out again. The two started walking towards it. "Hey! Why're you still walking towards it? There might be something nasty in the water..." Paimon said now worried. "I can feel... strong emotions..." Aether thought while they both started walking closer to the water. "Everything is... getting a little blurry..." Y/n thought while still walking. "Huh? Hang on, Paimon can kinda hear a voice... It's calling for "Vacher," right?" Paimon asked now hearing it too. "Hey, Aether and Y/n! Stop walking! C'mon, wake up!" She said after seeing the both didn't stop walking. And then everything was dark.

Y/n woke up to a forest. Seeing that she woke up someone sitting in front of a camp fire started talking. "So you are finally awake." The person said. She looked to her side and saw a person with... no face? She backed away a bit. "Who are you? And where am I?" She asked quickly. "Who I am is not important right now." Y/n looked at him in confusion.

"So Y/n... Let me tell you a short story. Come sit here." The person said while patting the seat next to him. Y/n was unsure about that but after some thinking sat next to him.

"There once was two girls and two boys. All of them were really good friends. One of the girls and one of the boys had a really strong connection to each other. They were inseparable. But one tragic day the girl disappeared leaving the three alone. They were sad. The boy was heartbroken. The three tried to find the girl but they found no trace. Not giving up they still are trying to find her. In the meantime the girl lost her memories. Will they find her? And will she regain her memories? Soon we will find out."

Y/n was silent. "Why did you tell me this?" She asked. "Don't you remember?" He asked her making her confused. "Remember what?"

"The accident."

He said and then looked at her. "What accident..?" She asked. "You soon will find out." He said and then slowly everything began to get blurry again. "What do you mean?? What accident?? Hello?! Answer me!"

Everything went dark again.

"Y/n! Wake up! C'mon, hurry! Navia's outnumbered!" Paimon yelled while Aether held Y/n in his arms. "Y/n!" He yelled in complete worry. She slowly opened her eyes and then held her head in her hand in pain.

She looked around and saw that Navia and her bodyguards were fighting off Gardemeks. The h/c haired quickly stood up and wanted to walk to Navias side so she could help fight them off but Aether stopped her. "Come with me. I will hide you somewhere safe." He said but Y/n pulled away from him and ran to fight off the enemies. Aether got worried and ran after her while pulling out his weapon to shield her and himself.

"Dear god... It's a whole army of Gardemeks..." Navia said after seeing that even mire Gardemeks came. From behind the Gardemeks was a certain purple haired female coming with her sword out. "Clorinde?" Navia said after noticing her. Clorinde eliminated one of the Gardemeks which put the attention of the Gardemeks to her.

Y/n, Aether and Navia get into fighting position. "Quick, now's our chance!" The blonde haired female said and then all of them ran to fight off the Gardemeks.

While everyone was distracted Y/n pulled out her sword and then killed off all the Gardemeks that were still not eliminated in a quick pace. The others looked surprised at the now eliminated Gardemeks. They didn't see who eliminated them because Y/n went back to where she was quickly. Only Clorinde saw a glimpse of her making her curious of the h/c haired female.

Navia started talking to Clorinde while Aether went quickly to Y/n to check up on her. "Are you okay?? Are you hurt anywhere??" He asked in worry to which the female traveler just put her hand on his shoulder. "Im fine Aether. Don't worry." She said with a reassuring smile to which he sighed in relief.

Paimon then flew towards them. "Thank goodness! Paimon thought we were done for!" She said in relief with her hand on her chest. "Those Gardemeks came outta nowhere while you were unconscious, and Navia and her gang saved us." Paimon said while looking at the two traveler. "Well not like Aether didn't keep you safe right after he woke up. He was really worried... But Paimon was worried too!" She continued. "Oh, and someone suddenly killed all of the Gardemeks in the end very fast! Paimon couldn't even see who did it!" The flying child said in amazement. "Oh yeah I saw that too. I wonder who it was..." Navia said while getting into thoughts.

Y/n thanked Navia for the rescue so the topic would change. "Oh, come now, forget all that polite talk. That wasn't really a farewell meal we had back there - not for me anyway. In truth. I hope that every meal we have together shall be a victory feast." Navia happily responded back. "As such, we're still partners. There's no need to thank me." She said while looking at the h/c haired female and smiling. She smiled back to which Navias cheeks got red a bit.

"It will take... fifty year for me to match Demoiselle's magnanimity." Silver said to Navia with his hand on his chest. "If it were me, I would have joined the Spina di Rosula on account of her goodwill long ago." Melus said with his arms crossed. "*sigh* Alright, you two, that's enough..." Navia said after turning towards the two bodyguards.

"Actually, Navia, how did you know that we were in danger? You sure did show up in the nick of time!" Paimon asked the blonde haired female with her arms crossed. "Well, to be honest, you're the one who tipped us off, Paimon." Navia answered. "Huh, really? Paimon contributed somehow? Paimon's even more amazing than she thought!" Paimon said proudly. "Yes, all thanks to you grabbing my drink by mistake." Navia agreed which made Paimon confused. "Uh... How did that help...?" She asked with her arms out. Navia started explaining why that helped which made them understand.

After talking a bit they all went to one of Navias bases.
