"She knew that she would have to go through Garde inspection if she tried to leave afterward, so she has been trapped in the opera house these last two days." Paimon said with her hand on her chin. "She had already become desperately hungry by the time we were chatting over macarons, so she swiped two of them right under our noses. Talk about a sneaky thief!" Navia said while looking at the so called thief. "At this point, all the events that happened in the tunnel have now come to light!" The flying child loudly said.

"Ah, so that's the whole story..." A canny audience member said. "Bravo. Bravo!" Another audience member cheered while standing up and clapping her hands.

"Now then, Lady Furina, do you wish to speak against the defense's statement?" The Chief Justice asked the Hydro Archon. "I... Um..." Furina stuttered not knowing what to say. "Please answer the question, Lady Furina. Also, if I may add, the trial has not yet ended. As such, I request that the prosecution not leave the room before the proceedings have concluded." Neuvillette said. "Ugh! What, are you reading my mind now!?" Furina said angrily to Neuvillette while pointing her finger at him. She turned around and then put her arm down sighing. "No, I have no further arguments. I admit defeat. But really, could you at least have left me with some dignity?" She added while having her head down.

"Wow, look at that. She's like a deflated balloon now." Paimon whispered to the two traveler. "If there are so objections, then as the Chief Justice of Fontaine, I shall once again repeat the full sequence of events." Neuvillette said and then started repeating it.

"From this reconstruction of events we can conclude that Lyney, the accused, is in fact innocent." The Chief Justice said after he finished repeating it.

"Hooray, Lyney and Lynette! Amazing!" Paimon yelled out happily. Other people were clapping and cheering.

"While there is much in Lyney and Liliane's conduct that should still be investigated separately... This case, at least, can be handed over to the Oratrice to make the final decision." Neuvillette said.

The Oractrice started glowing and then a letter popped up in front of Neuvillette. He took it and then started reading it. After he read it he looked up. "As such, Lyney and Lynette are officially declared "Not Guilty"!" The Chief Justice said.

"Hahaha! Victory for Ace detective Paimon!" The flying child yelled out happily and proudly with her hands on her hips while the audience started cheering and clapping. "Great work, partners!" Navia said happily with a smile.

"Thank you all, thank you so much!" Lynette said thankfull while holding Y/n's hands in hers and looking her in the eyes with a smile. She smiled back and was about to say something but Aether interrupted her by pulling her to him. "Let's not celebrate just yet..." Aether said while glaring at Lynette while she glared back.

"Next, I think we deserve an explanation, Garde Vaughn." The long white haired male said to the person on the stage. "How did you find the Water from the Primordial Sea in Lyney's baggage?" He asked the Garde. "Right! Your discovery caused me to make a serious mistake, you know! ...Or was that not a discovery, but false evidence that you dared to bring before this court?" Furina quickly said with crossed arms. "I suspect that the accomplice mentioned in Cowell's note was not Lyney, but you, yes?" Neuvillette said which made Vaughn nervous. "I... Uh..." He stuttered. "I'm sure you know what you must do to lessen your sentence." The Chief Justice said while looking directly at the Garde. "Speak quickly, unless you want to earn yourself a one-way ticket to Coupon-town." Furina angrily said with her hands on her hips. "I-I was just following orders! We were supposed to place blame for the serial disappearance onto Lyney and thus cause suspicion to fall on the Fatui. The higher-ups said that this was the best opportunity to do so." Garde Vaughn explains. "And now that your plan has fallen through, and the secrets of the Water have been revealed, you have become a liability to said higher-ups, yes? Therefore, you would be wise to tell everything you know and seek the protection of the Gardes." Neuvillette said. "Y-Yes! I'll tell you everything I know!" Vaughn stuttered out quickly and then started explaining.
