"Can I open my eyes now?" I ask as Jace guides me through the unfamiliar area.
"Nope. Almost there." Jace replied.
I grunted impatiently and eager to see my "suprise".
Some time passed before I heard running water and birds chirping.
"Open em' up..." Jace said slowly and I could hear him smiling just by the way he spoke.
I opened my lavender eyes and saw the most beautiful scene. A water fall, running into a lake, surrounded by pine trees and lushess, green grass. The sun was shining just enough between the fluffy, cumulonimbus clouds for it to be warm. There was a nice spring breeze that flew in as well.
"Jace....h-how? How did you find this place?!" I said loudly, smiling from ear to ear.
"I searched a bit. It's for you. Well, us. It's our place...." He said smiling with his hands in his pockets.
I squealed and jumped into his muscular, outstretched arms. He got the idea and I wrapped my legs around his waist as he spun me around. We giggled the entire time until he set me down on the soft grass. He set me down and sat next to me. I pulled my knees to my chest and giggled.
"You're my best friend. You know that? ...right?" I ask smiling widely and taking my lip between my teeth.
"And you are mine, Maiyah." Jace replied.
"I love you so much. You're the best thing that has happened to me. You're the bestest friend that a girl that could ever ask for."
"I love you too Mai. You're the best thing any guy could ever have and i'm glad i'm that guy."
We smiled at each other and he embraced me in his arms. We laid on the grass, me in his arms, him stroking my hair and us making things out of clouds. Jace pointed out a monkey, a snail, a giraffe tap dancing, and pikachu. As for me, a frog, a sailboat and a stampede of horses.
"You should get me food." I said cocking up and eyebrow.
"Yes, your highness. Would you like some wine with your cheese?" he said jokingly.
"But, sire, thy is only nineteen!"
"Yes, but thy isn't. Thou is nineteen yet thy is twenty one."
I giggled and shoved him playfully. We opened up the picnic basket and searched for what delicacies had been brought.

We had been at our special spot for about two hours, eating, exploring, and having a blast. We were walking around the lake and talking when I pulled out my cell phone.
Oh. Geez. Twelve missed calls and fourteen texts from "DON'T ANSWER UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TO". Ugh. I ignored it and decided to call stephen later.
Jace and I continued walking and decided to head to the jeep.
"I'll race yah!" I shouted before taking of running towards my jeep, across the huge feild.
My feet repeatedly hit the soft grass, sprinting across the vast field. I giggled and stumbled a few times before reaching my car. I panted and stopped giggling, looking for Jace.
"Jace? Ugh. You could at least tell me when your going to spontaneously disappear." I sighed to myself.
I opened the back seat of my car and got my shoes out. I put them on and started heading to the large patch of forest next to the waterfall. I walked with my hands in front of my body and looking down. I took my time walking over there and when I reached the forest patch, I looked up at the huge trees. The forest had dim light due to all the leaves and branches. I walked and the leaves crunched beneath my feet. I hopped over a huge log and behind the log was a baby fox.
"Oh my...Hi." I said in one of those baby voices.
My arm outstretched to pet the little creature. The fox flinched, frightened I might hurt it. The fox curled up and peaked an eye out. I took this chance to pet it's curved back. The fox trembled but got used to me in a matter of seconds. I gently picked it up and cuddled it to my chest.
"Shh...its okay." I cooed.
I continued to walk around with the fox that I later named Nico. I held him with me and looked around the gorgeous sight. Nico started to squirm, so I set him down. He followed me everywhere I went in the forest. Then, he decided to lead the way and I followed him. He led be to these two trees that were tilting inward toward each other. Their leaves were long and hung down all the way to the ground, making some sort of curtain.
"Woah..." I gasped.
The light shining in between the strands of leaves was very bright and almost seemed like the gates of heaven. Nico looked at me and walked into the leaves. He wanted me to follow him but I was kind of scared or in shock, rather. I inhaled and walked in. Once I was in, I exhaled and opened my eyes. My eyes grew wide at the scene occuring in front of me. My mouth fell open and the only words that I could bare to say poured from my lips.
"Where....am.........I?!"
