I think there might be some confusion here,even though no one had said anything about it...yet.
In my first book,The Weeping Angel Samatha was born with one gray eye and one light blue.
Well here is an explanation for that.
When Samantha gotten older,both of her eyes changed to a darker blue.

And reason why Rain,Samantha's mother isn't the Moon Goddess is because I have a plan for her in the future of this story.
