Hayes's POV

Today is the day. Today is they day I will ask the love of my life to spend the rest of our lives together. Today is the day that I propose to (Y/N).

I wanted to make this special for her, so I came up with a creative way to ask her.

Your POV

I woke up expecting to see my boyfriend sleeping next to be but instead I found a note saying:

(Y/N),

Sorry I couldn't be with you when you woke up this morning. I had to do something really important and I need your help with it. I need you to go to the place we had our first date as soon as you wake up. I love you.

What is he up to?

I got up and saw that Hayes already had an outfit laying out for me. Confused, I put on what he had for me and walked to my car and drove to the ice cream shop where Hayes and I had our first date five years ago.

I walked in and saw the owner and he quickly gave me another note from Hayes:

Congrats babe! You have made it to the first place! But you still have a few more places to go. Next, I need you to go to the place where I first told you I loved you.

I got on my car and drove to the local football field. Hayes had just scored the winning touch down when he quickly threw off his helmet and ran to the fence and kissed me then muttered the words "I love you."

I smiled at the thought as I saw my best friend sitting on the bleachers with another note:

What a special night that was.. Now, go back home and go to the room where I almost dumped a bucket of paint on your head when we first moved in.

I laughed at the old memory and went back to our home.

I walked into the living room and saw yet another note:

Great job baby! You have one more place to go! Go to the pace you told me would be perfect place to have a wedding.

I got into my car and drove to the beach.

I soon as I stepped out of my car I heard the crashing of the waves and instantly fell in love with this place all over again.

The wind was slightly blowing my hair and dress around as I walked up to the shore, where my amazing boy friend was standing.

"Hayes, what is all this about?"

He gave me a smile and then got on one knee, making me tear up right away.

"(Y/N), I've loved you since the day I first saw you, I love everything about you; your hair, your eyes, your personality, everything. It would be an honor for you to say yes and be my fiance and future Mrs. Grier"

At this point I was bawling my eyes out and I couldn't stop smiling.

"(Y/FULL/N) will you marry me?"

"Of course I will"

I could barley get the words out as he put the ring on my finger and kissed me then gave me a hug.

"I love you so much Hayes"

"I love you (Y/N)"
