Braces

Today you were getting your braces and you were determined to not let Hayes find out; at least for the first week or so. All you could think about was having a mouthful of metal. Yuck.

You get up in the morning and get dressed and get ready and then your mom takes you to go do the one thing you dread to do.

*skip to after you get braces*

"Owww" you complained to your mom who was getting tired of every word that comes out of your mouth being "oww", "momm", and "it hurttts"

"Mommmm, it hurttts" you continue to complain. By now your mom usually would have told you to shut up and threatened to take your phone if you kept complaining, but she knew how much pain you were in.

When your mom pulls into the drive way you get out and see the one person you didn't want to see now. Your boyfriend Hayes.

"Hey babe, I missed you at school today" he said while trying to kiss you.

You turn away and walk into your house with Hayes following.

"What's wrong? Why won't you kiss or talk to me" he started to look worried.

You just shrugged your shoulders and looked away.

But just when you were about to walk away, Hayes grabbed you and starting to tickle you which made you laugh and made your braces completely visible.

"You got braces?!" He asked shocked. You nodded slowly while closing your mouth.

"Don't close your mouth. They look great on you" he said making you blush.

"I love you" you said smiling and showing off your perfect smile in the making.

"I love you too" he said.

You both spent the rest of the day talking about how much he loved your braces and how much more beautiful your smile was gonna be when you got them off.
