I woke up to something hurting my window, I got out of bed and went to the window. I had to stand on my desk to look out because it was a basement bedroom after all. Nothing. That was weird. I jumped down from my desk and went to my bedroom door and tried opening it. Locked. Of course. I haven't ate once today and it's 7:30pm. I I slipped on my jacket and sat there on my bed. I was looking at my door when it opened and my dad came barging in, "good skylers gone. Now. HOW DARE YOU TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!" He screamed punching my noise. He then kneed me in the stomac, making me fall to the ground in pain. He kicked me in the face 5 times. That broke it for me.
I jumped up studded my laptop into my backpack along with my school books. My dad tried slapping me but I ducked and jumped into my closet. I grabbed my duffle bag and stuffed 2 outfits and 2 pairs of shoes into the bag and came out to see my dad punching holes in the wall.
I grabbed ahold of his arm, "Dad
I can leave right now. Just like mom did. Or I can leave for 2 nights decide now!" I said as he slapped me with very strong force in my face. He laughed, "Yeah i don't think so. You're NOT leaving just like she did. You better be back in 2 days or you'll get it." That's was a good enough answer for me. I ran into the main room of the basement and up the steps and into the kitchen. I ran out the front door and took off towards the pond that Day lives by. That's the only place that I know where I can go.
