Han's POV
With a grumble and a pout on his lips, Han shuffled out from one of the bedrooms with the plush comforter wrapped around himself as he made his way downstairs. He was still fairly groggy, having just woken up from the nap he took while his hyungs were gone. He passed by Minho who was on the phone with someone, not paying him any mind and made his way over to the couch.
Felix was sat there watching the TV, glancing over at him while Han unceremoniously plopped face first onto the couch. He laid there on his stomach, face pressed into the couch cushion while his knees rested on the armrest, his legs dangling off the side.
"Are you even awake?"
He simply grumbled into the cushion covering his face, not bothering to give an actual answer. Han could hear the blond alpha chuckling as a hand ran through his dark grey locks, the smell of grapefruit and rosemary increasing.
"At least get all the way up here so we can have a cuddle."
Hearing that, Han slipped back off the side of the couch, looking over to see Felix had shifted his position as well. The blonde alpha had moved so his upper back was against the other armrest as he laid back. A soft smile pulled at Han's lips as he kneeled on the couch between Felix's legs, laying against him so they were facing one another and resting his head against the other alphas chest. He still brought the plush blanket with him, wrapping it around the both of them. He relaxed immediately as Felix brought his arms around him, squeezing him in a tight embrace momentarily and taking a deep breath.
"That from Minho's bed upstairs?" He knew he didn't even need to answer, the comforter absolutely stunk of Minho's scent, especially since Han was still wearing scent patches, keeping his soured scent from coating the fabric. It was a blanket the other alpha used often so the soft floral smell of orchids stood out along with the pink pepper and patchouli. His had always been one of Han's favorite scents but he found he had been searching for the scent more often recently but not because it was Minho's scent, but because it was the closest he could get to the scent he had really been craving.
His was the closest to Y/N's scent.
He finally nodded in response, letting out a sigh as Felix once more started running his hands through his hair. One hand after the other slowly combed through dark gray locks, nearly lulling him back to sleep. A soft croon was heard from just above him, the calming sounds and scents that surrounded him helping to ease the anxiety and distress he had been feeling for the past few days. As he relaxed further into the other alpha, a low rumble vibrated in his chest while his arms tightened around Felix, feeling quite content in that moment.
"You already signed the contract?"
Minho's words caught his attention, one eye peeking open and glancing up at Felix who was looking back to Minho.
"Of course that's fine, just doesn't give us a whole lot of time to prepare. The place clearly looks like eight alphas live in it, but I'll make it work."
Curious, Han finally opened both eyes, lifting his head just enough so the top half of his face was above the back of the couch as he peeked over the furniture to focus in on the other alpha.
"Take your time helping Y/N pack, we will take care of everything else here."
At the mention of her name, Han quickly scrambled to sit up on his knees on the couch. He accidentally dug his elbow into Felix's sternum and while the blonde wheezed, Han kneed the poor man in the balls while trying to climb over the back of the couch. The gray-haired alpha didn't even register the shout and groans of pain coming from the blonde as his foot caught on the blanket and he fell to the floor, landing on his back with his left leg still hanging from the top of the couch, the blanket wrapped around his foot. He struggled to free himself, twisting onto his stomach as he pulled his leg free and finally stood, breathing heavily in an attempt to catch his breath. His focus was solely on Minho who had just hung up the phone and was staring back at him and Felix with wide eyes, looking him up and down with surprise.
"Hannie? Are you-"
Han quickly cut him off, excitement clear in both his expression and tone. "Y/N is coming here? You mentioned a contract, did hyung already sign it?" Minho paused for a moment, glancing over at Felix who was sat up with his forehead pressed against the top of the couch and a hand over his crotch. The older male raised a brow, looking at the man with a blank expression before shifting his focus back to the alpha standing before him, seeming to have decided Felix was fine.
"He did, they are helping her pack now. She'll be moving in today so-"
Again, the older male was cut off and it was clear Han was no longer listening as he hurried off, picking up and moving various items around the room as he yelled out for the others.
Y/N was coming and the place was an absolute disaster. He wanted to make a good impression, which was why he started frantically cleaning and picking up everything. Unfortunately, his panic induced cleaning spree was not what the others would consider helpful. The blanket he had brought down was thrown into a closet, dirty dishes were shoved into the oven, and the potted flowers that were borderline dead had been shoved into the cabinet under the kitchen sink. It was fine, out of sight, out of mind, right?
Yeah, she totally wouldn't notice.
Minho's POV
Originally, he had been planning on fixing the place up before Y/N arrived, but watching whatever it was Han thought he was doing, was much more entertaining. It was practically the equivalent of a child pushing all their toys underneath the bed in an attempt to pick up. Sure it was only creating more work for later on, but honestly, he wanted to see how far Han would take it.
"Why do we have so many shoes? Do we even need all these?!"
He had no idea who Han was yelling at, but it brought a smirk to his face as he continued to listen in on his mate. Han's voice steadily rose in both volume and pitch the more frantic he got.
"They don't even all fit in the cubbies!"
Five shoes were suddenly thrown out into the hallway, yet only one set was a matching pair.
"Find somewhere to put them before I throw them away!" He watched as Han stormed right by all the others that had gathered in the main room, watching his panic. "That area needs to be clear! She doesn't need to be tripping over our shoes!"
His eyes followed the grey haired alpha as he pulled the vacuum from the closet. "This place stinks of alpha!" Minho lifted a single eyebrow when Han fixed his attention on him. "Min-hyung!" He fought the urge to laugh as the man attempted to untangle the chord, quickly becoming frustrated. "Min, I need you to, ugh! I need-damnit! This fucking thing!" Apparently fed up, the alpha picked up the vacuum, opened the closest window, and tossed the whole thing out. A loud thud and cracking plastic was heard as it hit the pavement in front of the house. His focus shifted back to Han, as did everyone else's, while he ran a hand through his hair and huffed.
"Ok, Min-hyung, I need you to go get a new vacuum, that one was fucking useless." Seungmin stared at the man as he mumbled, but was still plenty loud enough to be heard. "It worked perfectly fine till it went out the window." Han snapped his head to the side to glare at the other while pointing his finger at him. "Hush, you!" His attention went back to Minho just as quickly. "Like I said, get a new vacuum and we need more pillows and blankets. We don't have enough pillows in this house for an omega." The grey haired alpha moved to open more windows as he kept talking, the almond and cardamom in his scent burning with anxiety and stress, the peach note souring more and more by the minute. "And get some scent neutralizers or something for the smell! Someone get the rest of the windows open!"
Minho watched as his mate wandered off to 'clean' something else before turning his attention back to the others. "Just let him go through whatever manic episode that is, he'll be fine. Seriously though, let's get this place looking presentable. Felix, can you bake something? Maybe some brownies?" The blonde alpha simply nodded, still walking a little funny as he headed to the kitchen. "The rest of you, straighten up the bedrooms and someone needs to take care of the bathroom. I'll be back as soon as I can, I'm not sure when hyung will be back with her so try to get everything done quickly."
From the stairway leading to the bedrooms upstairs, Han's head poked over the railing. "I need you guys to help me clean this house like you're a bunch of serial killers trying to cover your tracks. Place needs to be spotless!" With that, Han disappeared back upstairs and he let out a sigh, running a hand down his face.
"Don't let him throw anything else out the windows."
