Early Morning Antics

A bright light suddenly grew the balls to wake me up.

I groaned and grabbed a pillow out of nowhere to place on my head so that it would protect my eyes.

I sighed as I slowly started drifting back to sleep....

"Hey, get your ass up,"said a voice.

I groaned and clutched the pillow tighter, afraid that the person would try to take it away.

"I said, get up,"said the voice, slightly more aggressive.

I refused to oblige and I kept the pillow on my face. The pillow suddenly flew out of my grasp and my eyes flew open from shock.

Tristan was standing over me already dressed. He was wearing khaki jeans and a blue button up polo shirt with matching blue polo shoes.

"It's time to get up for work,"he frustratedly said.

God, he gets angry SO easily. I checked my phone on the nightstand for the time.

It was 6:30am.

"Are you FUCKING kidding me?! It's 6:30 in the goddamn morning, man! You said we start at 8!,"I exclaimed, angry that he woke me up at the wrong time.

"No, I said YOU start at 8. I, on the other hand, start at 7:30. So, I'm gonna need you to hurry up. You have 30 minutes. And if you're not done by 7, I'm dragging you out of this house no matter what you have on,"Tristan threatened, walking out of my room.

"UGH!,"I loudly groaned in frustration.

I tried to throw my pillow at the door, but it didn't make it.

I dragged myself out of bed and started preparing. I went into the bathroom and found extra towels and toothbrushes. I brushed my teeth, used the toilet, and took a shower.

I wrapped myself in a small towel when I was done and stepped out of the bathroom. I went into the closet that was in the room and was about to pick out my clothes when I remembered my suitcases were still downstairs.

Frick.

Maybe Tristan is still in his room or something.

I left the closet and quietly opened my room door before tiptoeing down the hallway as cold air pricked my skin.

It wasn't even cold in here. I guess it was just the fact that I was wet that made it cold.

Standing at the top of the stairs, I looked down to see if Tristan was anywhere to be seen.

After not seeing him downstairs, I quietly went down the steps and found my suitcases still in front of the front door. There were five suitcases, plus my carryon, so I need to figure out the fastest way to get them upstairs.

"Need any help?,"asked a voice. I shrieked and turned around so fast I'll probably get whiplash in a few minutes.

Tristan was leaning against the door frame of the entrance of the kitchen.

"Uh, yea, I just... forgot these.... and, I, uh, need to get them upstairs...,"I said awkwardly.

Tristan walked over to me and took two big suitcases while I took one and my carryon. We took them upstairs together and Tristan went back down to get more, while I took the rest in my room.

I lined them up in my new closet and started getting clothes out.

I took out a mid-thigh length dark blue skirt and matched it with a cream white, long-sleeved blouse. Then, I chose a pair of cream white heels that were in my shoe suitcase and went to my carryon to get some jewelry. I found a simple pearl necklace with a matching bracelet and earrings.
