James's POV

"I'm so glad that you're back at the studio." Riley told me for about that fiftieth time that day.  I chuckled to myself and opened the passenger side door of my car to let her in.

"You know babe," I started to say before I got in the drivers side, "I don't think you missed me that much." I teased her.

  "Oh really?" She inquired.

"How about when we get back to my place, you show me how much you missed me." I suggested, sounding seductive.

"Hmm, I like that idea." She replied. I tossed my dance bag on the back seat, but then quickly remembered that the car keys were in there.

"I'll get it." Riley sighed, at the same time I said, "I got it." She turned her head at the same time I reached my arm back, which resulted in my elbow colliding with her eye.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry!" I exclaimed. She quietly groaned in pain, holding her hand to her eye.

"Here, let me see." I instruct. She slowly removed her hand and turned to face me.

"That's definitely going to bruise." I sigh. She gives me her best angry look that she can.

"Just get your keys and drive." She groans.

We get to my place, and Riley's eye has already bruised terribly. After turning off the car I turn to Riley. I put on a serious face before I start to laugh a little.

"I can't believe I gave you a black eye." I chuckle.

"Yeah I can't believe it either." She growls and then hits me hard on my arm.

"Hey, just because you're battered and bruised doesn't mean I have to be too." I state, rubbing my arm. We get out of the car and walk inside.

"Hey mom." I greet, walking into the kitchen. She turns and smiles. But then gasps.

"My God Riley, what happened to you?" She shrieks. She rushes over to us, pushing me out of the way and examines Riley's bruised face. Riley gives off a pitiful look.

"James abused me." She jokes.

"Hey, that's not what happened!" I state.

"Let me get some ice while you tell me what really happened." Mom says.

"My elbow accidentally collided with her eye." I chuckle.

"I turned around to get his bag for him the same time he reached his arm to get it and he accidentally hit me." Riley explains. Riley accepts the cloth wrapped ice from my mom and holds it to her eye.

"Riley, you go take it easy for a bit. James, you do whatever she tells you to do. It's the least you can do for your poor girlfriend." Mom orders.

"But-"

"Come on James. Do as your mom tells you." She says. I groan.

"Fine, let go to the living room." I sigh. But Riley doesn't budge.

"Aren't you coming?" I question. She smirks.

"Carry me." She simply replies. I scoop her up in my arms and bring her to the couch and I set her down softly. I take a seat beside her.

"Anything else I can get the injured princess?" I ask.

"No, I think I'm fine for now." She replies. "But don't think you're off the hook for this!"

"It was an accident!"

"Well I'm still mad about it." She replies.

"So no make out session I assume?" I sigh.

"Nope!" She responds smugly.

"Well how about after the bruises goes away, I make it up to you?" I offer.

"Hmm. I'll have to think about that. But right now go get me a drink." She orders.

"There's nothing wrong with your legs though." I argue.

"Yeah, but I can't only see out of one eye. Now go." She responds.

"You're such a princess." I mutter, getting up.

"Yeah, but you love me." She says. I turn around, smiling at me. Even with an ice pack to her face, she's still beautiful.

"Yeah, I love you." I respond.

"Well if you love me, then you'll hurry up and go get me a drink." She says.

"Right on it, your majesty." I sigh.

"Make it quick and her majesty's Prince Charming might get a reward after." She smirks.
