My body was tingling...That warm fuzzy feeling was still there, and it surely wasn't going away anytime soon.

I have never been stared like this in a long time...well I have never been stared at in this way...

Kobe, your next! The teacher said as she smiled at me warmly. We needed to do research on some famous person and such. I shakily grabbed my packet of papers, and slowly walked to do the front of the classroom. She winked at me before moving aside. I didn't dare look at any of my fellow classmates, I wasn't a brave lad at all...which is what everybody would say to me as they'd spot me studying alone.

"You aren't a brave lad aren't you?"

It all started with this british boy, the name "Brave Lad", stuck to me because of him. People over heard it as he mocked me and tried to make me feel bad that morning...

"Aww your studying, by yourself? Well that isn't fun lad," he spoke loud and proud of himself. The school Jocks overheard the conversation, and they surely made new friends with the boy. They always tried to make me feel bad, and yes, when Monique wasn't there.

I stood infront of the class, I put the papers on my face, and spoke softly.

Nothing came out...

Everyone was staring at me intensely, it wasn't in the nice way, they were annoyed for sure.

"C'mon! Be "Brave, Lad!"" One of the guys from the back yelled. I felt myself get nervous and sweaty, once he said that, people wouldn't stop yelling that out loud...

I turned around, he was no longer there. I felt myself get sad, but my heart wouldn't stop beating at a fast rate. I sighed and returned to taking small sips of my coffee. I uncovered my face and put my hat on back the right way its supposed to be. Once I looked up, I regretted covering myself up...

"Hi there." He stared lovingly at me.
