Chapter 3

Maya's  pov

  This was not the new beginning I had in mind. No siree. Being kidnapped by some psycho and dumped in the back of his car was not part of operation second chance, sure I had made a list of pros and cons but I had not dreamed this up as a potential con.

  Suddenly the car stopped and my hot kidnapper from hell came out of the car dragged me out slinging me over his shoulder like I weighed nothing. I couldn't see a thing due to the blind fold over my eyes and I began to dream about up all the awful places he could be taking me to like a slaughter house,a mad doctor's lab,a lion's den but when the blind fold was removed I opened my eyes to the most luxurious and beautiful room I had ever seen.

  The room looked like it was brought out of a fairy tale. I asked my captor where we were
   Your new room sweetheart he replied.

You're kidding? What do you mean my room you fucked up psycho?

I mean where you will be sleeping from now and its Derek not fucked up psycho. You see you saw me feeding and I can't have you telling anyone so I kidnapped you. Under normal circumstances I would compel you to forget but I can't as it turns out your mind has a firewall against compulsion that is you have a strong mind a very rare trait among humans.

What do you mean human? you sound as if you aren't one too and I promise if you let me go I won't tell anyone about your condition I said trying to negotiate.

  What condition?

  Well it seems you believe you are a vampire.

Actually  I am a vampire.

  I laughed. The guy was obviously crazy. Look here Derek vampires are not real they are fairytales.

  Oh yeah?

   Yeah.

   Suddenly fangs popped out from his mouth scaring the shit out of me.

   Well you could have had them implanted. God knows the crazies scientists are inventing.

    Fair enough.

   You see that lamp over there he said pointing to the beautiful pink lamp across the  room I nodded in a second the lamp was in my front and I remembered how easily and quickly he had caught me in the woods and I realized the guy was actually a vampire.

  You believe me now?

   I nodded.

   Good.

  Please let me go. I won't tell anyone.

  Sorry I can't take any chances.

  Realizing then that I had become a vampire's captive I flung myself on the king sized bed and cried my eyes out.
