Alexandra looked at teresas with horror in her eyes. The coward he spoke of, was her friend. The very man that she owed her life to. It was him who took her from her friend the cyclops, it was him who, when she was deathly ill with a type of sick that made it impossible to breath, carried her on his back as he climbed the cliffs of the floating island to get aid from Aeoulus. It was him who learned from circe how to braid hair so he could help keep hers orderly without having to cut off tangled ends. It was Odysseus, the man she could have been fine with calling father that betrayed her.
She turned from teresas after a few staggering steps back, and ran to the ship, her eyes hunting Odysseus down. She saw him and her vision turned red. She felt stronger, a need for blood bubbling in her veins, the voice in her head was deeper and darker than her own.
"Go on now, my new patron... take the same amount of blood that he tried to take from your brother. Or manipulate him like how his cowardly soul manipulated that childish 16 year old. The one who manipulated the child to burn down your city...."
She didnt listen to the voice. Instead of feeling with her fist, she felt with her soul.
"Odysseus of ithica! You're a traitor! A liar! And a murderer! You killed my brother! You killed my baby brother! He thought you were our father and you killed him! You are no longer my friend, you are now an enemy of the royal family of Troy! And I swear on the Styx, that forgiveness will be near impossible!" She stormed up to him and started to hit his chest plate with her fist. Banging on it like it would actually do any real damage. Tears flowed freely out of her eyes.
"I hope that you dont get home for twice the amount of years that it takes me to find a new one! I hope that you are imprisoned by someone who acts like they care about you, but would kill your family given the choice! I hope that your crew decides that they are better off without you and that you are thrown into the ocean by Zeus himself!"
"Alexandra, what are you talking about? Kill your brother? Enemy of the royal family of troy? I get your last Trojan but that doesn't mean youre queen now, and I killed a lot of brothers, but those brothers were men who chose to fight."
"Clearly you dont understand... I am Alexandra of Troy, daughter of prince Hector and sister to astyanax. Regent of my brother reign should my father perish before he came of age. And as the last of the royal family of Troy, that makes me queen... and you killed my infant brother. It was you in hid nursery that night, while I hid in the closet, unable to save him... it was you who was so kind... so gentle, yet you gently dropped him into the hands of a man who threw him from the walls of troy... and you knew he would be killed, you planned on it even... take me back to circles island, and never speak to me again."
And with that Alexandra boarded the boat. Odysseus, broken hearted at the loss of a girl he would proudly call daughter followed her, trying to talk to her. To which she looked straight ahead as if he were just a breeze. He sighed and the crew set sail back to circes Island. Circe aided him with supplies and instructions. Once you get to the sirens fill your ears with wax, if you have to choose, choose scylla and not charybdis, dont eat the cattle of the sun. Euryluchus attempted speaking to the broken girl.
"Little crow..." he would have reprimanded her for cursing Odysseus in such a way, but thought it better to be gentle, she was a child after all, only twelve, she was allowed to lash out, she should have lashed out much worse. "I'm sorry you lost your baby brother... but youre here now... maybe you can give me a smile before I go..." he said hugging the girl close. He loved this small child, she was his and he was hers, gentle like a father to a daughter.
