Telemachus was not scared of pride, and if Neoptolemus was anything, he was pride incarnate.
"I hate his guts Athenia. Why he looks so dumb with his dumb blonde hair, and dumb armor, and that stupid story about all the people he killed when Troy fell. Ugh! I hate him Athenia, and it is my job as Alexandra's bestie to make sure she doesn't marry any one i- I mean she hates."
"You're so jelous that you are reeking of it, it's actucally covering the reeking smell of self pity and doubt, with the pinch of romance, it is also a great deodorant for the reeking smell of Aires, he's always getting that blood and sweat smell into my garbs, and he always reeks of my enemies. It so annoying-"
"Athenea! This isn't about you, or your brother, or the fact that you think I'm in love with Alexandra, which I'm not! This is about what's best for my friend!"
"Well saying as you're marrying her, don't you think you have to love her in some way? You're saying you aren't totally infatuated with this girl since you were 12." "You didn't even know me when I was twelve." Athena scoffed and said "please." Before she suddenly shifted into an owl and went onto of a column and acted like a sleeping owl roosting in the shade as Telemachus heard heavy foot falls headed toward him.
"Telemachus! Are you crazy?! No scratch that! You are crazy, you're crazier than Dionysus, and he's the god of crazy! What are you thinking?! Where did this minotaur load of bull crap come from?! 'I'll be a suitor, might as well make her a true war bride.' What ever happened to us just being friends, I can't marry you! I'm your servant! You're crazy!"
As she continued to ramble on he just smiled and said, "but what if I did want to marry you? What if I don't care who you are? What if maybe I'm doing this so you aren't miserable and can come back to Ithica and stay with me?" He said slowly getting closer. She glared up at him.
"I'm not your happy ever after. I'm not your princess." She said as she turned on her heel and stormed off. While he hated to see her go, he enjoyed that she still kept her Firey temper and wits about her.
"Athenea, I might have been wrong, you might be right... I think I might be in love with her. You have got to help me marry her."
Athenea, who had shifted back to her normal, human, appearance, just sighed while shaking her head. "I think I know a guy; he'll be your personal god while I go on leave, I have a quest that needs fulfilling."
On a normal day, Telemachus would have been all over a quest. But today, today he had started to concern Athenea, he didn't ask a single question, he just stared off at the spot where Alexandra had been. "Telemachus! get your goo goo eyes fixed and listen. If you truly want to marry Alexandra, then you'll need some help. And while a few gods could help, I know a certain brother of mine with getting girls and not having them die, turn into flowers or animals, or be hunted down for their entire life. If I get my brother to help you while I am on my quest then you better marry her, you better love only her. Do you understand?"
"Athenea... I don't think I could ever love someone other than her."
Athenea sighed, and left Telemachus going to Olympus, she quickly found Hermes, her youngest brother, and pulled him to the side, around the corner of a column of Alabaster stone.
"Hermes, Odysseus is your friend, yes?" "Oh darling, of course he is." Hermes responded with a giggle in his voice.
"Good, then you can cover for me while I get our friend home, right? I'm going to get your friend, back to his people and I can only do that if you watch his son for me, Telemachus. He's very dependent and needy for advice so when he talks to you act wise and he'll listen to you, alright?"
