So we went to Subway and ordered our food and started eating. After eating we started talking about random stuff and laughed for hours. After a minute he froze. I can see him staring at something or someone from behind me. I can see it in his eyes he looked sad? Angry? I can't tell.
"Nashh! Hey long time no see" The girl said as she approached our table. Who is she?
"I need to go, Y/N let's go" Nash said and the girl stopped him
"Oh come on Nash! I just want to talk and catch up"
"Vanessa, I don't have time for this" I'm speechless right now. I don't want to interfere with this argument.
"Y/N let's go" Nash said and we walked away from the girl. Went inside the car. Nash looked like he was about kick or punch something or someone. I don't want to ask any questions cause I didn't want to frustrate him more. We drove away and whole car ride was silent. LIKE TOTALLY SILENT. I pulled out my earphones and started listening to R U MINE? by Arctic Monkeys. Honestly all I want to do now is hug Nash and comfort him. We got back to my house and we got out of the car. I went straight to Nash and hugged him. He hugged back eventually. After a few minutes we pulled away and I spoke
"Now tell me, who's the girl?" I said as calm as possible but deep inside I wanna slap her across the face. Idk there is just something about her that gives me bad vibes.
Nash froze for a moment until he regained his composure.
"She's my ex girlfriend" he said.
"Breathe Y/N Breathe." My conscience said
"UHH HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM THE SHIT DOWN SHE'S THE GIRL WHO BROKE NASH'S HEART AND CHEATED ON HIM DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CALM DOWN" I said to myself
"Hey Y/N you okay?" Nash asked with a concerned look on his face
"Yeah i'm fine" I said calmly
"Y/N I don't love Vanessa anymore, don't be --" I cut him off
"I'm not scared, it's just that girl gives me bad vibes, there's something suspicious about her" I said
"Oh someone's jealous" Nash teased
"I'm not jealous" I shot back
"Jeez I was just joking, just remember you're mine and i'm your and no one will tear us apart" He smiled
I couldn't help but smile. I love this dork so much. He kissed my forehead and gave me a reassuring smile. I checked the time and it's 1:50. Wow time flies by so fast. Then I got a text from Shawn.
S: I'll be there in 5 minutes :)
And I replied "Okay :)" And put my phone back in my purse.
"Who are you texting?" Nash asked
"Shawn, why?" I said
"Nothing i'm just asking" Nash said
Then I thought of something funny.
"Hey Nash there is something on you face" I said and I put my hand on his cheek. And in 3, 2, 1
BAM! I slapped him in the face 😂👏🏻
"OWW WHAT THE HELL!" He whined
"What it was funny!" I said
"Oh you think it's funny huh?" Then he tickled me to death
"NASH STHAPP HAHAHAHAH I CAN'T BREATHE HAHAHA"
I said laughing
"Nope. Not a chance" he smirked
"STOPPP HAHAHAHAHAH" THEN HE FREAKING FOUND MY WEAK SPOT. MY NECK.
"NOO NOT THE NECK HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA STHAP HAHAHAH FINE I'M SORRY I SLAPPED YOU ARE YOU HAPPY NOW AHAHAHAHAH"
"Good, You owe me a kiss too" He laughed
"Ew why would I kiss a blue eyed alien?" I said trying not to laugh
"What did you just call me?" Then he started poking my sides which were also my ticklish spots. Then someone awkwardly coughed. We looked up and was Shawn. I started blushing like crazy, awkward.
"Ugh hey Shawn, how long have you been there?" I asked
"Just a minute ago" Shawn said trying not to make the situation awkward
"Oh, so let's go?" I asked and he nodded
"Bring her home by 6!" Nash said
"Yes Dad" I joked then I spoke again
"HAHAHA JUST KIDDING BYE BABE" I said to Nash and kissed him him the lips. More like a smack but whatever 😂

*At the playground*
Me and Shawn are sitting on the swings and started talking. It felt like hours of talking. Honestly I miss him so much, when he left, I felt like I piece of me went missing. But now i'm so happy we reunited. He told me does covers on YouTube. Now he has like 400K + subscribers. I'm so proud of him, he's turning his dream into a reality.
Then he asked stuff about me. And I told him, same old, same old.
I was still curious about what he said a while ago so
"Hey Shawn, what did you want to talk about a while ago?" I asked and he froze a bit, a few seconds he spoke
"It's nothing" he said
"Oh come on! You got me all curious! Now tell me!" I said eager to know what it is
"I'll tell you, but promise me it won't ruin our friendship?" He said and I nodded
"Okay, I had a crush on you ever since the very first day we met and ever since I left, I would always think about you. I always ask myself, if I told you that I like you, will you reject me or not. When Nash emailed me inviting me to your party, I was so happy and I thought, why not on that day i'd confess it to you, but then I found out that day, Nash "was planning to ask you to be his girlfriend so I didn't do it anymore because I might
ruin the moment" he said
I shocked at the moment. I don't know how to respond to this.
Then he spoke again
"I know i'm already going to get rejected because I know you have a boyfriend already. I know that. I'm just getting it all off my chest. Even though it hurts seeing you with Nash, as long as your happy, i'm happy. And I hope thing don't get awkward between us just because of this confession. If he breaks your heart, i'm gonna kick his ass, just saying! I know i'm leaving tomorrow, always remember, you can talk to me anytime, just Imessage me. Distance won't tear our friendship apart, okay?" He said
Tears fell down my cheeks. I couldn't speak. What Shawn said was so touching and i'm glad to have him as my best friend.
"Hey Y/N don't cry now" he said
and hugged me. Then I spoke
"I'm so lucky to have you as my best friend, i'm gonna miss you much"
"I'm gonna miss you too Y/N" he said and kissed my forehead. We pulled away. It's almost six o' clock so Shawn took me home. I'm gonna miss my best friend so much.
