The Eyepatch and the Rabbit (Touka x Kaneki fanfiction)

2nd Confrontation

"Touka-Chan I came here because-". He gulped and cut himself off afraid of how she would react. She raised a brow beginning to become impatient. She tapped her foot while crossing her arms having an annoyed look. "If your not going to say anything your wasting my time idiot!" He looked away knowing most likely she's going to blow a fuse. "I came back because I wanted to see you." He looked at her beginning to blush slightly. "Tch, if you missed me why did you leave me!" Kaneki looked down "You know the reason why I left you." "Yes because of your idiotic, selfish ambition to become stronger! Well news flash kaneki we don't need your god damn help or protection!"

Kaneki didn't care if she wanted protection or not he was precious to her which was enough to drive him to become stronger. "Like I said we don't need trash like you here at Anteiku, we done here because I got school tommorow." She glared at Kaneki feeling nothing but anger and sadness. "Touka-Chan, your the only reason I want to come back." He looked at her feeling the tension in her eyes. "Screw you idiot I said don't bother coming back!" Even if she didn't mean it, she wanted him back badly. "Touka-Chan." He paused. "The reason your the only reason I want to come back is because I love you!" He grit his teeth looking away knowingly his response is going to end bad.

Touka's eyes widened with disbelief and her heart began to beat quickly. He loved her? She was in complete disbelief, she loved him too but the pain he put her through didn't show he loved her. "Stop screwing with me dumbass!" She threw a punch toward his head but Kaneki's fighting instincts kicked in catching her hand. "I'm serious Touka-Chan, I really do love you." He looked into her eyes still holding her hand. She growled "Stop playing with me as if somebody would fall for somebody like me!" She began to throw punches and kicks. Kaneki blocking and dodging everything she threw at him. "If you love me why the hell did you leave me!" She yelled before throwing a quick kick toward his legs making him fall backward. She got on top of him holding his hands down beginning to cry a bit. His eyes widened not realizing how much he hurt her because of his decision to join aogori.

"Why did I have to fall for an idiot like you?" Tears still flowing down her cheeks. She began to head toward Kaneki's face looking straight at him. He began to blush realizing what was about to happen. Was this really going to happen? Is this some sort of dream? She pressed her lips against his, closing her eyes. Kaneki's eyes widened then closed. He deepened the kiss holding her cheeks with his hands. She pulled away looking at him. "I love you shitty Kaneki." She blushed and looked away turning red. Kaneki couldn't help but laugh seeing her this way. "Hey what's with the laughing?" She looked annoyed. Why was he laughing at her? "Your so cute when you blush Touka-Chan." She looked away still red. "Yeah whatever." She got off him and grabbed his hand helping him to his feet. "You can stay in my room tonight." He immediately turned red. "Thank you." He bowed to show how grateful he is. She smacked the back of his head and smirked. "What was that for?" He rubbed the back of his head. "Just for my entertainment."

She began to walk to her room with Kaneki right behind her. She entered her room with Kaneki. He closed the door behind them looking at her room. "Some things don't seem to change huh?" He smiled a bit seeing her room hasn't changed one bit. "Yeah guess some things don't seem to change." She laid down on her bed seeing Kaneki trying to lay down as well. "What do you think your doing?" Laying down with you?" He looked confused. "Your sleeping on the floor Kaneki, just because we love each other doesn't mean your getting the cookie tonight you pervert." He began to blush. "I had no intention of that!" Shaking his head nervously. She laughed and tossed a pillow and a blanket at Kaneki. "Goodnight shit head, I love you." She smiled while closing her eyes. He set up his blanket and pillow on the floor basically next to Touka. He laid down and looked at her. "I love you to, Touka-Chan." He slowly closed his eyes and began to drift to sleep.
