Nick was kissing on Charlie, when all of the sudden he felt a gentle push against his chest.

The blonde heard a slight murmur, which sounded almost like a word they had both agreed meant stop.

For a moment he didn't fully process, but the second he did he pulled away instantly.

He pulled his hand out from under his boyfriend's shirt, looking down at him as he leaned against the wall in behind him.

Charlie looked up at his boyfriend, pools of water building up in his dark orbs. "S-Sorry-"
The blonde cut him off with a small "Sh," and a smile. He tried to keep himself calm, panicking would make it so he didn't process the situation in a way that it needed to be.

"My darling boy.." He gently placed his hand against Charlie's cheek, the darker haired male leaned against his boyfriend's hand. He seemed to calm down a bit just from that.

"I-it was the wall.." Charlie murmured, looking up at his lover. "I know you meant no harm, it just... brought back some stuff. I'm sorry-"

Nick hushed him once again, looking down at him with nothing but pure affection. "There's absolutely no need to apologize for that." Hearing the reason for the boys sudden reaction,he backed away from the wall- grabbing his boyfriend's hand to lead him to his bed.

He figured it had to do with that dumbass, the one who decided it was okay to push Charlie into things without even considering the affect it had on him.

Nick hated the fact that Ben still had an affect on Charlie, he wished he could make it all wash away. But he couldn't, so this was the next best thing.

The lighter haired male sat down on the bed, looking up at his partner with a soft smile. "Would you like a change of plans, cuddles, perchance?"

He looked up at Charlie with a shit eating grin, squeezing his hand. "You can't just say perchance!" Charlie shouted aloud, practically jumping into his boyfriend's arms as he laughed at his antics.

Nick wrapped his arms around Charlie, looking down at him with a smile. "Your laugh is real cute, you know that?"

The dark haired boy looked at the blonde, his cheeks flushing at the sudden compliment. His laugh of all things? Charlie didn't understand, but he thanked his boyfriend anyhow.

"Thank you.." Charlie murmured, leaning against Nicks chest.

Nick then leaned back a bit, grabbing a few pillows to prop himself up. He then looked down at Charlie, gently pushing his hair out of his face a bit. "You're so handsome, baby."

He continued to murmur soft compliments as he ran his fingers through Charlie's hair, he seemed to be significantly calmer than before which Nick found very reliving.

Charlie looked up at his boyfriend, pulling himself up and leaving a gentle kiss against his lips. "Thank you, Nick. For everything."

Nick looked at his darker haired counterpart, smiling softly. "Of course, my love. I'll always be here for you."

Charlie began to tear up again, this time because he was happy- kind of. It was an odd mixture.

"Y-you... I just, how?" He sniffled, pushing his face into the others chest out of embarrassment. "I just really question what would've happened to me if you never showed up..." He let out a sigh, looking at his boyfriend once again.

Charlie wiped his tears away before fully looking at him, of course.

He then smiled a little, wrapping his arms around Nicks shoulders and hoisting himself towards him as he had when he kissed him. This time though, he just stared at him longingly.

"I'm so glad you found me. And I'm so glad I found you..." He murmured quietly, staring into his lovers orbs.

"I'm glad we found eachother aswell, more then anything else. I'm glad I found you," Nick responded - almost in an even softer voice than Charlie had stated it in the first place.

With that, Nick gently placed his hands against Charlie's cheeks, pecking his lips before they settled in for a long night of cuddles and cringey romantic comedies.
