Tucker's POV
We were driving down a road just outside a large village deep in the french countryside. Only to hear a loud explosion and a cry out for help I said to stop the Tank and I got out only to see josh following me he said "there is nothing you can say to keep me from coming". I just smiled and said come on, its nice to know someone has your back I thought. we drew our pistols and followed the sound of crying. after about five minutes we found the crater apparently a family was walking down this road and stepped on a kraut mine it sent chills up my spine. I told Josh to go back to the convoy and grab a medic he nodded and started running. I started helping the family out when a german soldier ran at me screaming and tackled me trying to stab me I attempted to grab my pistol with one hand while wrestling a kraut with the other. I thought to myself I can't die like this I have to survive.
Josh's POV
Me and the medic were running back to where Tucker was when we heard the sound of a scuffle. And then a loud bang of a pistol we saw a dead kraut on what must had been Tucker we ran over to help him up. "Gee thanks for the help I owe you" he said sarcastically. Sorry man "no its fine i'm just shaken up a bit " Tucker said breathing hard. So thats how both of our day ended. Both of us had seen the true horror of war
